Morte did a twirl - sorry, a spin.. my bad... - and placed a firefighter's hat on his head. Reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a gigantic hose. Yelling, "Did anybody say FIRE??" he sprayed down the whole area with great force.

 

Ellibereth was sprayed and knocked over, but not killed.

 

Fencefry, a pirate, has been killed.

 

Rush, Pikachu, has been killed.

 

Sryen, a Reality Shifter, has been killed.

 

 

The people decided to see what votes they could recover from the wet mess of a ballot box that remained... And found that in all the increased activity and recent action, their recent arbitrary time limit was ridiculous. Not seeing a need to make good on their promise to end the day sooner, the remaining people decided to see what they could do about the situation..

 

With three people here, it takes two votes to reach a majority.

The passion, the infighting, the dilatory moderator, the romance - wait, there wasn't much of that - all came to an end with two words: "Vote: Morte."

 

As Ellibereth and Rene pushed the ennoosed Morte off of the gallows' platform and watched him choke and quickly die, a sense of expectation hung in the air; expectation that this alternate reality would soon fizzle and that everyone could go back to their normal lives and continue their trick-or-treating. It turns out that these great expectations were too great. Oh, and they were totally wrong. I only included all this information as filler. I get paid by the word. That's why all my works are so unimaginably long.

 

Where was I? Oh yeah. Great expectations. Morte - still wearing that god-awful firefighter's hat - had been hanged, yet nothing seemed to be changing. As the sun set, Rene and Ellibereth set about preparing for sleep with much unease. Suddenly, Ellibereth looked as if an epiphany had suddenly occurred to him; stretching his arms wide, he dug deep inside his soul and, after a few minutes of intense struggling, suddenly started emitting a soft glow; a glow that even rivaled the glow of Rene's luminous thunderbolts, contained in a small bag hanging from his shoulder. Ellibereth seemed so much more trustworthy. Apparently he had been saving this power for quite some time; reveling in his newfound exuded integrity, he joyously shouted, "Yussss! I get two votes tomorrow! Awesome!"

 

Rene gulped. Ellibereth fell asleep with a smile on his face. Rene neither smiled nor slept.

 

As the demon sun rose, announced by whatever demon roosters were present in this strange world, the two survivors met each other at the ballot box. They were used to this by now; "parchment" and "ink" (in other words, the skin and blood of their dead companions) were set out for them, as if by some mysterious force. As always, the number of each material was exactly right. Ellibereth grabbed his "paper" and "pen" and, with a devilish grin, quickly scribbled something down and placed his ballot in the box.

 

Rene proceeded more slowly. Running his hand over the makeshift table of dark, knotted wood, he recalled the recent events that had brought him to this place. He was just an average nerd (in other words, a classics major). All he had wanted was to dress up as Zeus for Halloween. He never wanted to get involved in this alternate reality that somehow allowed him to take on the powers of the arbiter of the gods.

 

Rene sighed. He picked up his ballot and, dipping his quill into the ink well, wrote the name "Ellibereth" in nearly-calligraphic script. He hesitated. Ellibereth happily hopped around, urging him, "Get to it, you dirty Peloponnesian!" with a wide smile on his face. Rene took a deep breath, folded his ballot, and placed it in the slot on the lid of the box. Ellibereth - his features becoming less and less human and more and more demonic with every minute - screeched, "Yes! Let's count them now!"

 

Together they pried the lid off the ballot box. Together they dumped the votes onto the barren table. Together they realized - with somewhat varying reactions - that there were three votes to count: one for Ellibereth and two for Rene. After a moment of silence, Ellibereth yelled, "Yup! Looks like a majority! Let's go!"

 

Rene followed the bouncing Ellibereth up the stairs of the gallows in deep quiet. He sighed, stepped forward, and allowed the now hideously-deformed monster that was once the trusted Ellibereth to fasten the rope around his neck. With a spine-tingling cackle, the demon asked Rene, "So, are you proud of your dear Greeks now? They invented democracy, you know!" As Rene responded in a way truly befitting the king of the gods - condescending silence - Ellibereth let out a shriek and pushed with all his might.

 

Up until that point, Rene had planned to take his inevitable death nobly, with little struggle. However, as he hung from the rope, struggling for oxygen, he was suddenly filled with rage. Reaching for his sack of lightning, he grasped several bolts and hurled them behind him, little knowing that the spectre Ellibereth had already vanished. Mighty Zeus - defender of the innocent, bastion of all good in the world - was alone, hanging by a rope. He died quite painlessly, as Ellibereth, by now far off in the distance exulted in the world he had created - a world of disease, desolation, and destruction. The victorious warrior, his mission accomplished, reveled in the total elimination of hope that he had brought about.

Because you absolutely love Pokemon, you have decided to dress up as Pikachu for Halloween. Though, you realize that in this alternate reality, you have the power of a (low level) Pikachu! Your abilities are as follows:

(A) Thundershock - You may kill someone by hitting them with electricity.

(A) Tail Whip - You may lower someone's defense stat. This means that it takes the target one less vote to be lynched.

(A) Thunder Wave - You can paralyze someone with electricity. This means they cannot use any abilities, and their vote is null (but still shows up as a vote)

(P) Static - When someone hammers you, they become paralyzed for the next day; their vote is null and they cannot use any actions.

 

You win once everyone has returned to the regular reality.

2) Velociraptor - Emanick

You are the town bully - and because of your intense need to scare little kids on this delightful holiday, you have decided to dress up as a Velociraptor, because Velociraptors are scary as hell - haven't you seen Jurassic Park!? You find that in this reality, you have the powers of this creature you have dressed up as, and can use them as follows:

(A) Hunt - You can (and must) kill in order to eat and survive. Every two day phases, you must send me a person to kill.

(P) Brains - Velociraptors are very intelligent, and because of this, your IQ made it above 100 and you will hide the remains of whoever you kill, so that nobody knows who died.

(P) Flee - You can run so fast, you can flee fast, too. Each day you are not killing, you cannot be targeted.

 

You win when you are the only one to return to the regular reality.

3) Reality Shifter - Sryen

You are a Reality Shifter. You are the reason for all the commotion, and you love it. You feed off of the chaos, which is why you brought everyone to this alternate reality. Unfortunately, though, your powers are limited.

(P) Feed - Every time someone dies, you gain one energy.

(P) Shroud - Your shroud protects you from one attempt to kill you. This includes a lynch.

(A) Protect - If you use two energy, you can protect one person from all actions, including lynches, for one day. You cannot use it on your child.

(A) Freeze - If you use three energy, you can stop one person from taking any actions for one day. They can still vote.

(A) Strip - If you use four energy, you can strip someone of their costume, and they will no longer have any power.

(P) Return - If you die, everyone who you transported to this reality will return to their own, unless your child is still alive.

4) Reality Shifter Child - Ellibereth

You are the child of the Reality Shifter. Your kind feeds off of the chaos of others, the source of which has recently been the new arrivals to your reality. (P) Feed - Every time someone dies, you have a 50% chance of gaining energy.

(P) Shroud - You are protected from one kill, not including a lynch. Unfortunately, there's a 25% chance that the shroud will fail.

(P) Inherit - If your parent dies, you inherit your parent's abilities.

(A) Manipulation - If you use three energy, your vote counts as two votes.

You win when only your faction remains.

5) Neighborhood Stalker - Cameron

You are the neighborhood stalker, and have now found yourself in a place where you can do what you want and not get caught! You are dressed up as a shepherd and have the following abilities:

(A) Once every two days, you can target someone to mug. They will lose their costume and become a normal townie, and you will gain their powers by wearing their costume. Every time you pick up a new role, you drop the old one.

(A) While wearing the shepherd costume, you have two votes (publicly known).

(P) When you are the target of a non-killing action, you will automatically drop whatever role you are currently carrying, and the effects of that action will be nullified. If you are not wearing anything when you are targeted, you die.

 

You win when you have worn all the costumes.

6) Blue Oyster Cult - Scary Food Item

You have decided to dress up as Eric Bloom, lead vocalist of Blue Oyster Cult. With this costume, you have the following abilities:

(A) Once per day, you can attempt to recruit someone to the BOC. If they are wearing a costume at the time, the recruit will fail. If they are not wearing a costume, you will generate a new costume for them (they will be given a costume of someone else from the BOC), and the recruit will be successful.

(P) When you lose your costume, the rest of the cult does too.

(P) When you die, the rest of the cult loses their costumes.

You have decided it would be best to dress up as a pirate for this halloween. Unfortunately, in this new reality, your powers are limited:

(P) If someone tries to protect you, you will also be roleblocked.

(A) You have a gun with one shot in it, to shoot whoever you want and at any time. It will not fail. Just make a post in the topic, in bold, Shoot: Playername, and that person will die.

(A) You have a small amount of poison, and can use that to make someone die two days after you have poisoned your target. This is not blockable, nor trackable.

(A) Each day, you may choose one target. They will be hit by your paper fan, and will be unable to preform any actions for that day.
