One could also use the "Ice Plateau" teleport on Lunar magic as well, but I don't know where that puts you.

Uther -- do you think you could give me a little blurb on using the Wildy Obelisks? I never use them myself because I consider them unreliable.

-.-

Oh, that puts you in the Ice Plateau, it's about the same spot as the Ghorrock teleport, really.

And about the obelisks, you need to touch the obelisk and wait a little to get teleported to another random location with one. They're not reliable, but it's easy to keep using them. If you don't get teleported to the right spot, all you have to do is touch them again and wait to see if you're teleported, for eventually you'll get to the right place, and it might still prove a good route.

By the way, I would reword the part that you explained the obelisks. :)

You might also want to mention that you can get to the Ice Fortress using those ancient magic telport obelisks.

As I said, I never use them because I find them unreliable. Could you, perhaps, edit the paragraph to make it more accurate but not too complicated?

To reach the fortress, you can use the Ice Plateau or Ghorrock teleport (From the Lunar and Ancient Magicks books, respectively) to teleport just a short distance away. You can also use the Ardougne or Edgeville teleport levers to be teleported to the deserted keep to the east, or use the Wilderness Obelisks to teleport directly southeast of the fortress.

Good enough? And it's not like obelisks are unreliable - they just don't teleport you to a specific spot. All you need to do is keep teleporting, and eventually you'll reach the place you'll want. It doesn't take very long.

I have no idea where the exact teleportation spot is for Ghorrock and Ice Plateau teleports is, so i'm gonna have to guess.

Thanks everyone! :)

As an interesting sideline -- if you check out the world map on the downloads page of www.runescape.com, the map (which dates back to April 21, 2009 by the way) only has a black square where the Ghorrock Fortress is now located. :)

If someone wants to take a stab at my maps of the Ice Dungeon and make them prettiful, I would not object. -.-

Otherwise, I think this guide is good to go!

:P

This looks like a good guide to me...this looks like a really interesting quest, too...seeing Zaros is, like, awesomeness! :)

Hmm...this is usually where i would post some sort of a suggestion about how to make the guide better, but quite frankly, I can't think of anything. -.- Nice job!

Thanks very much!! :)

Personally, I cannot wait for the follow up quest(s) to this one -- it's going to be one heck of a story-line. -.- :)

You did an amazing job on this Blyaunte. However, you still need a FQW before this can be accepted. Also, the "Rewards" heading goes under the quest reward image.

This is a (very) rough draft, but what do you think of this?

I know that SWF's don't work on BBCode forums, but they definitely work on websites. Here is the HTML Code:

Oh, and awesome guide! -.-

Hey now, that is pretty neat!!

Can we "do" that and, if so, does it "add" to the guide as it is now?

I dunno. :)

Oh, and awesome guide! -.-

Thanks! :)

Also, you may want a step 9 in the FQW: Congratulations! Quest Complete!

(I'm pretty sure most every quest guide on Sals does this)

I think that the the legend in your maps is way too big. You might want to fix that. I'd do it, but I just suck at graphics stuff.

Did you mean make these smaller Fini?

I made them a little bit smaller... and I fixed some of the pixels.

Are you going to leave them as they are, or shall I put them back into the animation frame?

I think we should leave em as is. One of the strengths of Sal's is that it's all "html", and I, for one, know a lot of people who choose to use this site as their reference point because of that same reason. They avoid any site using SWF's like the plague for fear of contact with viruses and what-not ...

Now, if you'd like to make those maps "pretty", that'd be another story -- you're much better at THAT than I am by a long shot. -.-

Those are the first "hand drawn" maps I've ever made and, while they turned out okay, I am sure there's someone (*points at Wildman*) with an infinite amount of more talent than I do, that could make em look better.

That said, as far as I am concerned, I think this guide is good to go, as is -- except for possibly prettier maps of the Ghorrock dungeons.

Really nice guide, Blyaunte, it looks excellent! It's extremely well written, easy to follow, and it's very well detailed! It will definitely be helpful to readers needing a walkthrough on the new quest! Well done. :)
