Leaf-bladed Sword Or Dragon Scimitar

Roy

Question

Sumona has given me another task of iron dragons (I'm going to do this one). But what should I use as weapon? I only have 64 in att, str and def but I want to get the best suitable for the job.

I got a dds and a dragon scimitar atm but I heard that metal dragons have a weakness for crush attacks so would a leaf-bladed sword be better than a dscimmy against them?

Range is the best against iron dragons, one full antifire potion = 20 minutes where they do 0 damage to you.

Just use the best dhide you can, the best cbow you can and the best bolts you can/afford.

Ranged is the weakest attack against metal dragons. Metal dragons are weak to magic and stab.

Use a leaf bladed sword with super attack/strength and you'll be fine.

Wear prayer-boosting armour and take prayer potions and antifire potions (essential, if you want to last for more than one dragon).

So an inventory of:

Super attack/strength x2

8 Antifire (4) [buy 3 dose on GE and combine, sells faster)

12 Prayer potion (4) [as above]

Ardy/Camelot Tele

Coins

Bronze hachet (drop upon arriving at dragons; use this free spot to collect and bury d bones)

The ONLY loot you should consider picking up before you use a full potion is a Draconic Visage (1 in 10000; don't get your hopes up), Dragon Legs/Skirt, or any rune armour or melee weapons.

Hope this helped!
