Have any of you actually met the dude? He's much cooler than most of you have ever seemed to be. I mean damn, if you don't like his music then go ahead, but don't tear him down as a person. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd rather be friends with him than a self-righteous prick who thinks their better than someone because of their choice of profession.

Redi, I respect you a lot, and you bring good points to these types of arguments. I can understand what you're saying, but I just want to say this: I hate Justin Bieber because of the music he makes, the lyrics he sings, the image he's portraying and the attention he's drawing away from singers who are more talented.

I don't see him as a superstar - if anything, he's a better-than-average singer on rare occasion, and his songs leave for only mediocrity. His lyrics are simple, and often involve no creativity or genius compared to other artists I prefer. The image he portrays is... tough to describe, but I can just say that if I ever had an opportunity for fame, I would never want to be like that. I'm not saying I'm better than him, and you're right when you say that we haven't met him - but 'cooler' is subjective, and so is 'good music'. However, my music tastes include almost none of the current pop - and that includes Justin Bieber. The reason that I listen to Lupe Fiasco, pre-808 Kanye and Immortal Technique instead of the Disney-grade popstars such as Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers and Justin Bieber is that though the talent may be debatable, the lyrics aren't - the ingenuity involved in one Lupe Fiasco verse has more meaning than an entire album of Justin Bieber. That, my friend, is why I don't support Justin Bieber's music, image or fanbase.

I think you've summed it up well.

But do you like his haircut?

Practically everyone where I live has that exact same haircut with a backwards DC hat. It's shameful.

I can understand why you wouldn't like that then...

Canada must be pretty embarrassed. First Bryan Adams, now this?

I hear you Elephant King, and maybe it's because I've hung with the dude. I just can't see myself hating someone so chill because of their profession and what they produce. Sure, his music isn't my cup of tea and it's not very in depth, but I kind of see his music as "Wal-Mart" grade - sufficient and easy to get. It works for him, get him money so he can enjoy life, and it's just music so I'm not affected by it because the music I enjoy is still there whether Justin is making songs or not.

I was able to hang out with him over a few days while I was in Atlantis. He's really not all that bad, and he sincerely just wants to live life in an enjoyable way. I don't doubt that we would be friends in a different life because we hit it off so well down there. I guess I just hate to see a good person torn down, because he really is a cool guy.

William Shatner makes up for them both. Really though, I don't like his music, so I could care less about what he does or who he is.

I think this poll is a bit silly. The whole "Hi I'm a guy so I have to hate on Justin Bieber because he's somehow successful even though he isn't as manly as me." thing is getting old. I'll criticize his music career, but I wouldn't vote him out of manhood.

But he can't reproduce.

I happened to be vacationing there when he came in for his concert there a couple weeks early. He was there for vacation I guess. There's a teen club in the resort that I went to every night and he happened to show up there one night. It was kind of a surprise actually... I was dancing with my friends and all of a sudden you see this kid come in with an entourage... He liked my dancing and we were able to chill for the next few days at the club. Trust me, I know an goosedown when I see one - Jay Z was down there as well and he ignored everybody while he was at casino. Justin was cool though - I forgot he was a celebrity (except when I saw the bodyguards :grindteeth: ). The fame hasn't gotten to him, and I appreciate that in a person.

Guest Hanson

Funny thing is if you highlight to any woman how ridiculous Just Beiber is, then you're instantly flamed by every woman within hearing distance (of every age)..... I don't understand it

people are jealous that he makes money and they don't

so they hate on him for dumb reasons; srsly people need to grow up

Actually I hate her because I hear her everywhere. Its just annoying. Every girl I meet asks me "Do you know Justin Beiber? Isnt he awesome?" im like "no. Shutup.".

On top of that, her voice annoys me often.

Although, I do get a good laugh looking at his videos making himself look very idiotic when he "acts cool" :grindteeth:

And finaly, I conclude with the fact that many many more kids have great potential. Potential that wont really be lost when they hit puberty, unlike justin.

The End.

The Wizard has spoken :madsing:

Wait, honestly, he's male?

Lights-Up-Empire-State-Building-October-8th-justin-bieber-8570990-501-600_thumb.jpg

That... is a male?

It's probably his haircut and his shirt. I think I can see the Y chromosomes in his face. :madsing:

Practically everyone where I live has that exact same haircut with a backwards DC hat. It's shameful.

Ehhhh, the haircut's all right. It might even look pretty cool if it wasn't on a celebrity, but on someone it fit.

But yeah that's not the sort of thing everyone should go around wearing, it's too obviously "arranged."

The question makes no sense. "Does he leave or does he go?" How the eff am i supposed to know to which question does the Yes or No go?

This is exactly why I didn't vote. The pole is ridiculous! :grindteeth:

On an unrelated note, I have never heard anybody state that they like Justin Bieber or his music.

I've never met a girl who even thinks he's attractive. They all call him a dick-less happy face.

@ above I bet none of those girls would say no to him if he asked them out, because of how he looks not his money. And as for looking camp in a lot of his clothes (see above picture LOL) he's a bit pressured to wear fashionable clothes as a celeb and most of those look camp. But does that seriously make him a woman? Because if so the ratio of women to men just went through the roof.

As for his hair. I'd have it if I could :L, I like it, but each to their own opinion I guess.

And his singing.... well.... you either like it or hate it lol.
