SALCAT #1

Sal's Realm's bäst Podcast.

Banner courtesy of an anonymous user on #populus. Thanks~

Hey guys, since the Salcast and TMZ are dead, by request and for a few other reasons, here's a new podcast for you. First pilot episode is a little less serious than we intend it to be in the future, so hold tight while we work out the kinks and start caring about Runescape.

For this episode, we had As and special guest Sofee around for a bit, but they left, so other than myself, we had WarHeart and special guest Beret with us. Thanks them and stuff.

Without further ado, our first cast:

With free .mp3 at the end for all you TMZ fans! :grindteeth:

~Thanks, and enjoy~

This is quite possibly the biggest/worst TMZ ripoff of all time, with a bunch of boring RuneScape stuff added.

The only positive aspect of my listening experience came from the fact I skipped through most of it, so I only wasted a few minutes.

Well this wasn't really planned. It just happened randomly. We didn't plan on ripping off TMZ, we wanted to just talk. Like, we just wanted our voices heard because that's what we love to do. And I'm sure my vuvuzela impression was worth listening to. :grindteeth:

Stop hating please. I bet hardly any of you have the skills to do it better... Half of you dont even know that if you have a virus start in safe mode...

I promise to try a be in the next one :grindteeth:

You can't say that half of us don't have the skills because Sals TMZ has half of the Populus crew and its pretty good.

Dead dogs should be left to their dreams.

This poem that brought tears to my eyes says otherwise. (Lol rhyme)

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Author unknown...

Salcat was on the rainbow bridge and we reuinited with it. Sure it may not have been the best recording, but by God we did what we loved and we loved what we did.

HOW DID YOU LET ALL THE OTHER MILLION PODCASTS COPY YOU :grindteeth:

Its not original

I'm sorry, your opinionated "better than the salcast and TMZ". TMZ used humour, salcast used humour in my time. Both were interested in there topic. Salcast (again at my point) had decent call quality

You had no idea when anyone was speaking, so kept riding over.

And whoever was trying to lead the conversation, you're not funny, you can't stimulate a discussion and you can't host. Plus how are you still managing to talk about dung, you're late on the news, and I'm assuming you recorded this recently.

Just because it takes so much skill to make a podcast?

How do you know how to make a good podcast? Your experience goes as far as the Salcast, and look where that went. This is just an attempt to recapture that, and it's quite pathetic. It's as though you're trying to build a sand castle out of cow dung.

Let's say I'm buying a used car. Let's say that the previous owner happened to be you. Let's say the car breaks down a day after I get it. "Well, it worked when I had it" isn't a good excuse. It's very disingenuous. On top of that, you are part of collective association of people. Salcast wasn't exactly a success. It had previous success, but it isn't exactly a success now. People might have liked what you did, but you, in your position, set it up to fail. Everyone in that association did, so did i, and you were in an executive position, so you can't just unassume your responsibilities because I'm not.

Yeh please don't act like you know what happened while I was running it...

How else do you measure a podcast except through popularity.

I know what happened while you were running it. Def does to, remember he was the "editor". After you became co-head not a single episode was released.
