Potential Education: PhD in <?> Physics or Masters in Aeronautical Engineering from UC Berkeley

Potential Job: Professor at Berkeley or work for NASA or a private company working with space ships, respectively.

Why?: idk i like physics and space

I'm betting space travel will be privatized in my lifetime, so hopefully I can make bank off that if I do Aeronautical Engineering.

Potential Education: 4 years in college with a Bachelors in Biological Sciences, transfer to Medical School. Do a minimum of 3 years residency. All done at UBC.

Potential job: Emergency Room Doctor, General Surgeon (possible specialization in cardiology).

Why?: I love helping and seeing the look of hope in people. I love learning about the human body.

Potential Education: If anything, something to do with engineering. Don't know much yet, too young to figure out completely what I'm interested in.

Potential Job: When I leave school, I'm enrolling into the army. I'm betting I'm skilled enough to get into the NZ SAS (modest much?), I just don't know whether or not I'll have motivation to try hard enough to get in. Don't know where university would fit into that, but yeah.

Why? I feel like I should do something with my life, rather than just earn money and live a nice lifestyle like everyone wants.

Potential Education: 5 years in college (2 years for prereqs/general requirements + 3 years for program); Bachelor's in Health Science via Radiation Therapy option.

Potential Job: Radiation Therapist.

Why? Still uncertain as to whether or not I want to pursue this career, but I figure I'll just go with it since I was just accepted into the program. It's a stable job and being able to help cancer patients is always a plus.

Potential Education: After this degree, hopefully Part III Mathematics in Cambridge which is basically a Masters and then focus on mostly theoretical physics. With that, I've got a lot of options and I'm considering somewhere in America for a PhD.

Potential Job: Hopefully an academic. I want to research physics.

Why? Because I love maths and science. And I don't have a 9-5 job in some crappy office. I get to learn something every day.

Potential Education: PhD in some sort of Psychology, two Bachelors in Psychology and IT/Maths/Science and two Masters in the same subjects.

Potential Job: Psychologist or Psychoanaylitic pshcyotherapist.

Why? I fear of humans but helping some is a good thing, plus the $1600 a day I'll earn. :grindteeth:

I'm planning to go into engineering, specifically Computer Science, because I like math when it actually has a purpose and I want to do something at a web company like Digg/Facebook. So a BS to start out, not sure about what college yet although I'm looking at NC State, Carnegie Mellon, Georgia Tech, and Columbia (very long shot). I'm thinking that I'll graduate college, work for a couple years, then possibly go back and get a PhD and teach or something.

I've thought about the Air Force Academy for a great education and guaranteed awesome job, but I think I would rather have a more "traditional" college experience...

It pays well if you're very very good. If you're looking for money, don't be a writer. That or get a job writing for a newspaper or something.

Yeah. Writing books is kinda hit or miss. You'd be best securing a job in writing (like journalism) and having writing on the side.

A lot of people want to work for NASA hmm. With the cuts they've been receiving, I hope you do get a job there. Did Obama cancel that space exploration program set up by Bush?

I'm pretty sure he just made cuts in it.

I plan to be an author as an adult, but in case I can't make a living, I plan to have a backup career as a statistician, or perhaps a curator or professor. Or maybe a minister or a member of an aid organization. It's all up in the air right now, all I do know is that I want to write. :grindteeth:

How does anyone know what they want to do?

Potential Education: B.A in Economics from McGill, J.D. from an Ivy League (i wish)

Potential Job: Community Organizer

Why?: I didn't grow up in wealth, and former community was very impoverished. I feel that I need to give back because my parents got lucky in some respect.

That's something I'm worried about. I want to join the Army but I don't want to miss out on university.

I know because I'm almost a sophomore in college. And I bothered to plan.
