Aaaand the server is now 1.3. Does this mean I'll have lost my anvils? > : (

It means Bukkit links to 1.3 with their 1.4 links and I didn't double check, should be normal now

Yes, but, what of the wall hangings?

Uh, they should all be fine?

Also members of Team Wishlist:

  • THEACTUALHERTY, PATIENCE WAS NOT HIS NATURE.
  • HAWKJJJ, HUMAN GOLF BALL.

Also briefly a member, crollwitz. He kinda went ADHD right as he was about to beat one of the final troll rooms and save Inquis from repeating the same puzzle again. Drama ensued (especially considering we assumed he was about to beat the whole dungeon at the time).

So Mikey, Lonely, and I discussed it, and we decided it would be a bad idea to split the diamonds apart. Inquis and Herty, we're leaving them in the chest in the hall of champions. They are under shared ownership by all of Team Wishlist, and if you would like to borrow any particular diamond for an extended period, please let another member of the team know. Also, of course, remember to return said diamond when you are done with it. This also means you're not allowed to do something such as taking the diamonds to fight the Wither, unless all or most of Team Wishlist gives you the OK.

Although hawkjjj is considered a member of Team Wishlist, he didn't do nearly as much as the main members of the team (sorry Herty, you didn't either, but it's ok :aware:), and he's also rather young and a new player. So we spoke to Zooey, and he won't have direct access to the loot chest. Rather, he can ask members of the team, on a case-by-case basis, any time he wants to borrow one of the diamonds. Just saying, if you give him an item from the chest, treat it as though you're the one borrowing it: tell the team that you gave it to hawk, and it's your responsibility to make sure it's returned safely.

Oh yeah, and make sure you let him know that placing, crafting, or eating the diamonds will destroy their diamondness, which is as bad as just plain dropping the diamonds in lava. Also, tell him he's not allowed to give the diamonds to anybody outside the team. Seriously.

Can anyone shed light on why i keep crashing? :(

That doesn't seem like a Minecraft crash report - it's Java. Uninstall your past versions of Java (Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel, I think), and install the latest one. You may also need to restart your computer.

Damn, sure wish I was on a Minecraft-capable computer right now.

LIPA fix power now please.

Sorry to hear that :(

Hey, I live on the same island as you :P

Team Wishlist will surely be sharing Hermes' Thongs often

Also make sure that you have indeed actually installed the new Java (The Java website has a tool that tells you if you have it successfully installed), one time the Java didn't install right for me and my computer nope'd hard.

Dynmap hit a whopping 36gb yesterday so what we've decided is that the main towns and several other important points will be rendered for viewing, but not the entire map.

(currently fiddling with zoom settings)

I also have 44gb of map backups

How much space is saved by removing the highest zoom setting? It seems wasteful to me, as it's literally the 2nd highest zoom, upscaled so that all its pixels are 2x2. If those are all actual tiles, they'd account for up to 27 gigabytes

Post count still "matters"?

OT: how come my beacon doesn't shoot a light out of its top

It behaves oddly in the nether, but in the overworld it needs a clear view of the sky. Transparent stuff like fences, glass, enchantment tables, and pistons are allowed to cut through the beam, but any solid block will prevent it from working. Oh yeah, and you need at least 3x3 mineral blocks (not counting lapis) underneath it.
