First Newspaper Out!

I present to you....the newspaper, edition 1.

OK everyone. You might have seen the post about restarting Sals' Newspaper. We're gonna Just start writing! as our lovely moderator Heb0 put it.

 

At this stage, we're still recruiting, but we have a good base of staff. Start writing everyone! If you need an idea, post in the topic and we'll help you out.

Once you're done, please PM me the article/topic and I'll edit it and send it back to you. Thanks to all, and good luck!

You're already formalising the idea. It's getting ruined, but heck my advice isn't gospel. Just make a damned paper, all this planning, you'll never bloody release it! For that reason I'm out. Nobody needs a category and you really didnt need another topic. Sorry for being a pessimist, but you got it really wrong :D.

It doesn't become an addition to the forum until it's proven to have some success. For now, you should keep it to your blog and when it starts becoming popular and churning out issues without inactivity, then maybe you should post it here asking for it to become 'official'.

Newspaper died from huge amount of administration

 

Salcast died from "administration" but it was more recording problems and the head not being allowed to upload :D Either way, rules get in the way and stop it working, so scrap categories and stuff.

Another tip, do not even bother with news, it'll be out of date before its published. Instead do in depth analysis of an update or news story

I think I could do something like this for you, drop in an article when I have something to write about, but not be committed and have to pump out articles too often.
