Yoyoma Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) No deadlines means no work will be done. At least with a deadline you ensure work will be done in the few days proceeding. That's what Choccy told me, so I decided to have a loose deadline. I'll try to write most of it on my own, but I don't know if I have enough time. All the formatting is up to Mario. @Fatalysm: What they actually want is relevant information, the actual updates, they have already seen and know of it. Anything else you throw in would just be an opinion and if it's not a good one then why read? What does that mean? (I'm unclear) @Lilshu: Hope you don't mind some feedback. :D Of course I don't!! So basically what you guys are saying is: a) Make a general deadline. b) Do it for fun. Amirite? Edited April 11, 2011 by Yoyoma Quote
Yoyoma Posted April 12, 2011 Author Posted April 12, 2011 Have you read what I posted? :3 Yep. That's where I got: a) Make a general deadline. Quote
Fatalysm Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 What does that mean? (I'm unclear)What I meant was, with your time frame it took about a month to make an episode, you would have the same problems to release news and information like the official paper did. Even if you can get the information in the paper on time and quickly, it has to be that interesting that it will divert attention from the news that has just been released. It's either got to be exclusive news/interesting news that is up to date or none at all, else you risk filling the paper up with something boring/something we've read/out of date! Quote

So you're saying that our news can't be about updates because it wouldn't be interesting - the reason for this being that our newspaper comes out so far after the update does that it's not interesting. Amirite? ~Yoyoma Pretty much :D, heck don't get hung up about it though. The official paper failed with it, my paper didn't work even with it there...So it's not you, it's everyone else! :( Quote
