Bursting/barraging Questions

Question

Anyone know how much xp each sacred clay staff gives?

 

Is it worth it to take them to burst, or is it too much inventory space?

 

Probably will be smoke bursting/barraging at ape atoll.

 

Also, burst or barrage?

One staff lasts for 33.3k Exp. Not sure if it's worth it or not but if you're going for exp it basically cuts cost in half. Not sure about where/what barrage to use either.

tome of frost + clay staff = ice burst/barrage.

I'd find that rather obvious, but:

 

a) God book = more prayer bonus

b) I cbf wasting 43k dung tokens on that when I need rigor + augury + rapid renewal, or an arcane stream

c) It's hard to lure when your opponent is frozen.

d) The whole point of smoke barraging is until I can get 94 mage to ice barrage.

I gained about 400 sc points worth of staves before I did my burst from 91 to 93, so 20 staves. I did this mostly to cut down on the costs, rather than time.

 

If money is the issue, go for sc, or even burst in a crowded sw world so you can use the zeal to save burst runes. If not, then it's probably not worth the time getting staves.

 

Remember: Recharges (20) are cheaper than buying a new weapon (like 25 or something), so buy like 4 or 5 sc weapons initiatally, then just recharge them after that.

It'll probably be faster in the long run to simply just superheat (0 profit/loss + 85k exp/h) or string ammies.

 

1def can't string, and I'm working on superheating 85-86 and can't put up with it. It would also be slower considering that I'm sitting on cash anyways.

 

Clay Staff, hati gloves, tome of frost, arcane blast, Virtus Armour.

 

yeah, that would work for barraging.

 

1) Virtus Armor =/= 1def

2) Clay and hati don't stack

3) I already said I can't be bothered spending dung tokens on ToF
