_Zj 43 Posted February 15, 2011 (edited) No cavities, ever. I don't remember how long my braces were on. I would say about a year, maybe 18 months. But it's possible I had them on for 2+. It's been too damn long ago to remember correctly. Edited February 15, 2011 by _Zj
Cattius 0 Posted February 15, 2011 I lost count of how many fillings I had to have when I was little. I was really ill for the year after I was born so all my baby teeth didn't develop properly and without being glued together with fillings they literally just crumbled away every time I ate. I went to hospital supposedly to have four of them taken out, then woke up to find they had taken out eleven 'because they'd have come out soon anyway'. Yay for living off baby food, soup and mashed fruit for several months :D Anyway almost all of my adult teeth have come through now so my teeth are (relatively) OK at the moment. I was supposed to get braces to straighten my teeth but I really couldn't be bothered to go through all that hassle just to move my teeth a couple of centimetres :(

Toad 1 Posted February 15, 2011 Had to have "twin-block" retainers for awhile, as I had a massive overbite. Then I had permanent braces for about 18 months, I now have a fake lateral incisor due to having a missing adult tooth. Still need to wear retainers at night to prevent my teeth from moving, been wearing them for the best part of three years. No fillings or cavities though :D (Touch wood). Twist of Fate 290 Posted February 15, 2011 Ringo Starr takes better care of his teeth than I do. That says a lot.
Samsara 46 Posted February 15, 2011 (edited) I've had one cavity. Four (or is it six?) teeth knocked out. I take really good care of my teeth. I am supposed to have been on braces/invisaligns a long time ago now, but... I still don't have all my adult teeth. Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm not a little kid though! My orthodontist says that he's never seen anybody hang on to their baby teeth as long as I have. I have eight adult teeth. :D Edited February 15, 2011 by Samsara
