Â I've always thought that was pretty weird though, because a few years back I very rarely brushed my teeth in the summer(as in maybe once or twice a week, at the most) just because burshing my teeth never really became a habit. Even now I'll sometimes skip brushing them on the weekend for maybe a day just because I still don't have a habit of it. TMI? Yea, probably lol. Sobend 962 Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) I had braces for a year and a half in Middle School, and I had an overbite so I had to use those rubber band things. They didn't really help. According to my orthodontist I'm supposed to wear my retainer for the rest of my life, I haven't worn it in years and as far as I can tell my teeth haven't moved :D.
