They did they now have no depth and no chemistry and will lose a lot of games because of it which line up is better

PG Raymond Felton SG Laundry Fields SF Carmelo Anthony PF Danillo Galinari/Wilson Chandler

C Amare Stoudamier

or

PG Billups SG Fields SF Anthony PF Amare C Turiaf and have no bench?

Also I am pissed at Danny for sending Perkins and Robinson not so much robinson though we need perkins to win title. Kristic is not intimidating and Oneals are never healthy.

If the Knicks can put some defence into their game they can be a great team.

Anyway, big matchup with Miami tonight. Should be fun.

You guys are idiots for saying the Knicks got gypped.

They lost to the Cavs.

Ronnie Turiaf is their starting center.

Their defense is as bad as ever.

Their bench got worse.

Melo is one of the less efficient scorers in the league.

Yeah, that was a great deal for NY.

What was Utah thinking sending D-Will to the Nyets for Harris Favors some picks and some money? West is losing its power Denver will at best be 8th seeded Utah wont make playoffs.

They didn't want to lose him in free agency and get nothing in return. It actually wasn't that terrible for Utah, since they got a decent replacement in Harris, a prospect in Favors, and some picks.

The Lakers also lost to the Cavs, and the Knicks beat the Heat last night so I don't see your point.

Melo is one of the less efficient scorers in the league? WTF

yeah cause averaging 25 points a game isnt efficient.

The Knicks beat the Heat BEFORE the trade also. Even if they hadn't you can't judge the trade based on one game. Especially against the Heat, who are known to be inconsistent in games.

You also clearly don't understand what I mean when I say efficient. You'd probably think somebody like Monta Ellis is having a good game when he jacks up 30 shots and scores 25 points. Scoring 25 points means that you are efficient, right? Wrong. There's a difference between efficiency and PPG, believe it or not. In his three games as a Knick, Melo has shot 42%, which isn't too good for a forward, especially one of his talent level. He takes too many long-range jumpers and feels the need to dominate the ball on offense possessions. Also, he's a very bad defender, and he is on a team where defense isn't their strong point. His PER is also lower than about 25 other players in the league, which is not great considering he is regarded as a top 10 player.

Hes only averaging 42% in the last 3 games since he's been in the Knicks? He was averaging 45.2% with the Nuggets. Which is high enough to be #35 ranked in all of the forwards.

45% is still not good. Neither is being ranked #35 among FG% for forwards. Remember that we're talking about Carmelo Anthony here, a player that the Knicks gave up half their roster for. I'm pretty sure his FG% is lower than that of any other "tier 1" player in the league. In fact, almost every allstar has a better FG%, barring maybe a couple of guards. Plus, the fact that you're arguing this one point while my other points still stand says something.

Monta Ellis is boss. Don't hate.

He's a good player. It's just that he was the first person to pop into my head when I was thinking about inefficient shot-jacking.

Knicks are up by 11 at the half. :(

The hornets are pretty bad so I wasn't surprised the Knicks won.

What do you guys think about Miami/Orlando tonight.

Heat are going to stomp team disney :D.

They kinda lost steam in the 4th quarter, and let that 31 point lead go down to 16, but it didn't really matter at that point. :( They were missing a bunch of easy open shots though.

I'm not surprised the heat are losing. :P They suck at closing plus their team sucks outside of the big 3.

The heat are 1-16 for Field goals to tie or go ahead in the game with 10 seconds remaining. The one time they made the shot they still lost. :D

5 in a row heat fans, 5 in a row. Lakers are going to make it 6.

:D

I hope it's at least a good game.

I'm sure it will be. Both teams are going to try to make a statement. :( I'm excited.
