Imageshack now charges you to host .gif animations anyone know a good alternative?

Have you tried freeimagehosting.net

It's a little slow, but it gets the job done.

EDIT: Photobucket is a good alternative.

I wouldn't recommend this. Images and animations occasionally get recycled on tinypic etc., so it would just make the animation broken.

I've starting using min.us

It's got no anoying captcha unlike tinypic and doesn't resize large files

Why do you always see those broken links things that say tinypic on them? Not all of them are recycled, just some.

Those contain content of some sort that is questionable or against their policies. Such as previews for illegal movie downloads as my friend so ably showed me the other day, lol :D

They have no need to recycle images.

^Agreed. Imgur doesn't require a captcha, account, or charge, and is as fast as tinypic and imageshack.

Just saying, Tinypic does recycle URLs.

Where does it say they do? :D I couldn't find anything on it via a couple of searches.

Btw, who the fudge is gonna pay for having their gif hosted?! Lol.

Well unless some pictures in the database submission forums (uploaded with tinypic) were meant to have interesting pictures (one NPC had this as their bodyshot) then Tinypic does recycle image.
