Resource Dungeons is a dungeon that can be accessed with a certain Dungeoneering Level. These dungeons have useful resources (like Rocks to Mine) and Monsters to kill (Hill Giants etc). There are Free To Play Dungeons and Member Dungeons, This guide will show the Free To Play Dungeons.

The Dungeons
Daemonheim Peninsula
Dwarven Mines
Edgeville Dungeon
Karamja Dungeon
Mining Guild

Brief Info

A Resource Dungeon is a place where extra resources are found. These resources are hidden under dungeons which can be entered through the portals available. To enter the portal though, a certain amount of Dungeoneering level is needed.Besides extra resources, players also gain some bonus experience in Dungeoneering. Resource dungeons are considered a good place to gather resources and gain experience on the way. Bare in mind that Resource Dungeon are almost never empty and you should always try hopping to emptier worlds for better chance on the resource available.

Daemonheim Peninsula

The Daemonheim Peninsula Resource Dungeon was released on the 19th July 2010 (Same Date for all the Resource Dungeons). This resource dungeon was the first one to allow non-members to chop down maple trees.

Requirements
- 30 Dungeoneering. (Player earns 2400 experience when entering the first time)

Getting There & Location of the Resource Dungeon
Players can just teleport to Daemonheim using the Ring of Kinship obtained from the Dungeoneering Tutor outside the castle and then move west. If you lost your Ring of Kinship, then you should take the boat trip from Al-Kharid to Daemonheim. No fare is needed. If you are quite the risk taker, you may use the wilderness path to get to Daemonheim.

Dwarven Mines

The resource dungeon contains raw items for training RuneScape skills.

Requirements
- 15 Dungeoneering. (Player earns 1500 experience when entering the first time)

Getting There
A Falador Teleport should help to get there fast. If you have the Explorer Ring 3 or 4, you'll be able to Cabbage-port and then run to the house east of the Party Room. There is also a Musician to restore your run energy after the Cabbage-port.

Location of The Resource Dungeon (After Climbing down Stairs)
After climbing down the stairs, you'll be greeted by Scorpions and King Scorpions. If you are low leved, run pass them till you reach the portal entrance. Don't get stuck being stung by those scorpions.

Try hopping to less crowded world to get a chance at mining those rocks. There are 2 dwarves wondering around the dungeon. They are non-aggressive.

Edgeville Dungeon

The resource dungeon contains monsters and item respawns.

Requirements
- 20 Dungeoneering.

Getting There
I really recommend to use the brass key to enter the dungeon. It saves time since you don't need to pass through the maze of passages when using the north entrance. If this is your first time, you could either go in from the north entrance and move down till you reach the place with hobgoblins to grab the brass key or buy it through the Grand Exchange.

You can get to Demonheim via boat from Al Kharid (west of the bank) for free. Now that this is a single guide, I'd suggest merging the credits into one place and asking a moderator to close your other topics.

The "From Varrock" and "From Barbarian Village" seems to be messed up under the Edgeville Resource Dungeon part, otherwise it seems brilliant. :D

Edit: And imps are combat level 3 I believe?

At the above post - just a couple of minor corrections, it should be a full stop (period) after Ambo's name, and there needs to be a [/center] tag after Daemonheim Peninsula.

He hasn't made a response to my message on May 4th so I'm assuming he may have abandoned the guide. It's funny how the database forums treat credits differently.

Put commas between each person, don't put 'and' before the last person and don't end with a full stop.

three things:

"2 dwarf" needs to be changed to "2 dwarves" or "2 dwarfs", depending on how much you are into Tolkein linguistics.

"hard-pounded ores" sounds a bit foreign and strange. Maybe you should replace this with "hard-earned".

You can also enter daemonheim through the wilderness. It's certainly not the best route but for comprehensiveness' sake you may as well include it.

I'm fairly certain properly it would be dwarves if we're going by Tolkien standards.

Something that you may want to do, is give a brief paragraph at the top explaining what a Resource Dungeon. I know you gave a little but of info about each one, but an overall summary of what they are, what they might contain, the possible benefits of them and etc might be useful :D.

Getting There & Location of the Resource Dungeon

I assume you can just teleport to Daemonheim using the Ring of Kins and them move west. If you lost your Ring of Kins, then you should take the boat trip from Al-Kharid to Daemonheim. No fare is needed.

I think 3rd person looks much neater and better than using 1st person. Just my two cents but looking good nonetheless. Check some of your other topics to see my spell checks.

I read Sals guide and most of them seem to look like this. Anyways, thanks for the spell checks.

Do you think I should add on how to get the ring?

P.S. I can't thank you enough on helping me in this guide so much!

P.S.S. Correction the minor mistakes. Needs to be re-read.

Really nice work on this, Minerex99! This looks like a great start to our Resource Dungeon collection (there are still a lot of p2p dungeons out there), and I'm sure it will be a huge help to players looking for Dung help. Awesome! :D

A quick question though - where would the best place to put this guide? Dungeons guides? Tip Guides? Skills? Someone with Dung experience would probably know best. :P

-Accepted- :santa:
