Common Sense Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) This topic is for submitting your weekly contribution to Sal's Realm's Citadel. Whether you gather only a few resources or reach your weekly resource cap, post your weekly gain here in order to move up through the ranks of the Sals Realm Clan. Even if you don't reach your cap, you can still post the number of resources you collected! To see how many resources you've gathered in total and how close to the next rank you are, view the Citadel Spreadsheet. Resources reset at 5:15 PM GMT Tuesday. Please remember that you should only post once you're done collecting resources for the week. Multiple submissions will not be considered. Click the "production" tab (next to your friends list) to display your individual contributions to the clan. Dimosthimise Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 (edited) Well, I am done. Gonna max every week here (or try to at least). All though people who haven't yet, get to work! We have a ton more to get for this week! ~Dimos Edited August 15, 2011 by heb0 Quote
heb0 Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 (edited) Thanks to everyone who meets their 1k and a huge encouragement to anyone who wants to contribute (whether or not you max out!). We need resources! Edited August 15, 2011 by heb0 Quote
Samsara Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 (edited) And who says I'm a noob? Thanks to mastermax for keeping me company during the final stretch from 500 to 1000 resources. Here is a link to the raw picture which also shows my username, if more proof is necessary. Edited August 15, 2011 by heb0 Quote

Lyra Heartstrings Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 (edited) Im just gonna buy logs... I'll mysteriously get more then the cap. EDIT: I bought a dragon hatchet. How do you get to the cap thing? Edited August 8, 2011 by Tcmp3 Quote
Samsara Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Im just gonna buy logs... I'll mysteriously get more then the cap. EDIT: I bought a dragon hatchet. How do you get to the cap thing? The resource cap is part of the skill plot for our Clan Citadel. You can't "buy" logs, you must cut roots within the Citadel. They don't go into your inventory, and your resource counter increases by one by each root chopped. You also don't need a hatchet. :( Quote

Lyra Heartstrings Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Lol I meant instead of cutting 1k log I was just gonna buy 1k... Which wouldn't do anything for the citadel. Thanks and is there nerfed xp there? Quote
Helm Lardar Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 No, I haven't reached 1k. No, I don't want to. No, I won't be logging on until the GE updates it's shape/way of doing things. Quote

Thanks and is there nerfed xp there? The amount of XP you gain depends upon your woodcutting level. The XP is decent. At 99 I get 75.5 exp per root, and considering that it takes 3-4 chops to cut a root, it ends up being as fast as or a bit faster than cutting willows. However, it's not afkable, as you have to click once every few seconds. If you reach your max, however, you get the 1.5x ring, which makes for quite good experience at ivies--despite the fact that it gets used up quickly. It's certainly not powerlevelling, but in my opinion it's not a complete waste of time. If you're levelling woodcutting, it's a nice way to make a change of scenery for a short while. Really? If I recall correctly, I got my clan ring at about 150 resources... :( Just looked it up in the Knowledge Base: Contribute enough to the clan resource pool and you will receive a message in your chatbox telling you that you have earned a clan ring. So we get the clan ring at "enough," whatever that is. :P Not trying to be a snarky goosedown, by the way :D Quote

Perhaps the charge is proportional to what percentage of your max you get? Quote

Kinda stupid in my opinion - the more you help out, the more of a boon you should get. ~Dimos Quote
