Sal's Freeplay Great Orb Project Event

 

You freeplayer's want in on some of the Sal's community action? Then come this Saturday, October 15th, for a Sal's Great Orb Project event! Those of you that are members want to work on getting those Master Runecrafter robes? Then come with us to the Runecrafting Guild!

Time: 7 PM GMT / 8 PM BST, Saturday October 15th

 

What is Great Orb Project?

Great Orb Project is a Runecrafting-based activity where you divide into two teams and compete through a series of six rounds. Each round, it is your goal to move the orbs of your team's color to the Runecrafting alter, while pushing away the enemy's orbs. The team with the most orbs at the end of a round wins, and the team who wins the most rounds wins the game!

 

What Levels and Items do I need?

This activity requires level 50 Runecrafting to play. You do not need any items, but wearing Runecrafter's Robes does help the speed that you attract/repel orbs at. Note that you cannot bring hats into the game. There is no combat involved and it is a safe activity.

 

So where is this wondrous event?

Each game starts in the Runecrafting Guild, which can be accessed through the portal on the second floor of the Wizard's Tower, south of Draynor Village. You can purchase a teletab to go right there from the guild, or for you members you can take the conveniently placed nearby fairy ring. You can always run to it West from Lumbridge - just watch out for the giant rats.

 

Sorry, Sal will not be attending this one. 6 levels too noob.

And the reason there aren't many f2p events is because Sals player base is mostly members, and most of those members don't like going to f2p for events.
