Jethraw
I've yet to see an admin abuse their power because they have more important things to worry about than some random forumer's life. Do you really believe that the mods care that much about your life? I mean, c'mon... I know that if I was a mod I'd definitely take time away from participating in forum discussions and answering reports to spy on the private blogs of some randomer who I'll never talk to or see in real life. Wouldn't you?? You got me :(
Goggie
It's funny Mr. Fang, I don't know if you intend it or not, but one would think you believe the forum revolves around you! Seriously, nobody cares enough about anybody's private club to want to snoop around and read their secrets.
Adam?
Since you concede that admins should be able to read your blog, the matter of allowing mods is made irrelevant. At that point you assert you know better than those who promoted the mods in the first place; you don't trust those who have been promoted to mod yet you trust the admins completely! Because of this, your argument becomes less a plea for privacy and more a dismay of self-absorption and arrogance: the admins can be trusted to view the enticing contents of my private club, but I must judge the moderators on an individual basis. Fatalysm
If you want privacy close your curtains. Or blinds. Don't forget blinds. Got to be politically correct. Here is some truth for you son. If you don't want people to hear, don't shout.
Yuanrang
I'm not entirely sure why you're this upset about this. The sheer fact that no moderators or administrators will abuse their powers in such a way is one thing, but that you actually believe that any of us will take the slightest interest in your private posts is baffling me. Do you honestly think we take the slightest interest in you and your every doing that some of us has to monitor every action you do? :( I think I concur with the reports that think this has gone on long enough. It's abundantly clear that there's no real support in favour of this, nor is there really a good reason to make any drastical changes either way and thus this is to be closed. If you want to make truly private blog posts, feel free to make external blog entries at another blogging service and link to it in a private club entry. That way, only the private club members will see there's a private blog entry, and no moderators or administrators will be able to read it as long as you privacy check the external blog. But good riddance, get over yourself. ~Closed Edited December 27, 2011 by Yuanrang
