Bwauder 249 Posted July 20, 2012 Teenager ends up on two wheels while nan shops. Teenager ignored her nan's instruction of “Just wait here”. Police say it's dangerous to leave kids in unattended cars - but this is probably not what they had in mind when they issued the warning. "Just wait here" will now have a new meaning for one grandmother in Michigan, who returned from shopping to find her car wedged on two wheels between two others. Her 13-year-old grand-daughter apparently got bored while Nan shopped at Bed, Bath and Beyond, put the car in gear drove into a pole and a tree before landing it almost on its side between two parked vehicles. News outlet Michigan Live reports the girl may face charges from local authorities. "Charges will be forthcoming," Fruitport Township Public Safety Director Ken Doctor told Michigan Live. He says action may also be taken against the grandmother who "turned over the keys". The news outlet reported the teenage girl did not suffer ay physical injuries but was transported to hospital for "what appeared to be a panic attack". The incident happened at a shopping mall in Fruitport Township, about 300km north-west of Detroit, near Lake Michigan. Sobend 961 Posted July 20, 2012 I don't understand why you just wouldn't take the keys with you. Are you afraid you'll lose them in Bed Bath and Beyond?
William Howard Taft 81 Posted July 20, 2012 But then no AC for the kid. But if you're going to be spending any kind of time in the store why not just take the kid with you?
