Twist of Fate
Not much of the strength guide really needs an update (the tables and stuff are great unless you want new pictures which I can help get) so I'm going to update about half of it that does actually need updating. Anything else you see that I missed or should be added after EOC let me know please! I did my best on this rough draft. Strength By: Anonymous, TakerMayFire (Twist of Fate) Special thanks to: Onyx, Nadpese, Kmart Security, tantalizingg, Colinross, Mrcsupertrain, Hawk, Desireful, Itch, - Devan -, Roy, Tvz6, XmoneyX, Wartoc1 (Under "The basics") Training Strength By clicking on the Attack Styles icon (the one with the crossing swords) and then the "xp" button on the bottom right, you'll be able to choose between the different kinds of attacks you can use with your currently equipped weapon. To train your Strength, you'll want to choose the "Strength" style from the menu. Each time you inflict one damage point on your opponent, you'll earn 4 Strength experience. You can also use the "Attack, strength & Defense" method of some weapons to train all of your melee skills and earn 1.3 experience to each. The formula is *hit damage* x 0.4 for just strength selected, and *hit damage* x 0.133 for shared experience. In the picture below, the box is accessible by clicking the Equipment icon (right of the inventory icon), which allows you to equip and unequip items. The helmet and kite shield button will pop-up the box you see is in the picture. It will contain what you're wearing, an enlarged picture of yourself, and your stats. Damage decides how high damage per hit is. That is your strength bonus. The base damage is the bonus in the selected attack type skill. Accuracy shows the frequency of your damage. You also have a chance of making critical hits which is shown as a percentage. The type shows the weapon's attack type. Speed displays the rate of attack. The speeds are either average, fast, or fastest. __________________________________________ Quests (Simply add to the list as is, in order of experience given) The Blood Pact- 100 strength xp Land of the Goblins- 3,000 strength xp Horror From the Deep- 4,662.5 strength xp TokTz-ket-dill- 5,000 strength xp The Curse of Arrav- 9,000 strength xp The Chosen Commander- 20,000 strength xp The Path of Glouphrie- 30,000 strength xp Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf- 30,000 strength xp King of the Dwarves- 55,000 strength xp Temporary bonuses http://runescape.sal...mporary_bonuses (There's way too much for me to redo a table on this, so let's just add on to what's there. First, let's add "or mix" after the zamorak brew, strength potion, and super strength potions on the list.) Image - Name - Effect *The boost of regular strength potions is 1+8% of your strength level *The boost of super strength potions is 2+12% of your strength level / Braindeath 'Rum' / +3 Strength / Cavefish/ +2 Strength / Combat Potion or mix/ +3 and 10% Strength / Extreme Strength/ 3+15% of your strength level /Overload/ Continuing boost of 3+15% of your strength level for five minutes Edited December 11, 2012 by TakerMayFire
wartoc
The boost of Overloads and Extreme Strengths have been lowered (possibly the same has been done for Strength and Super Strength potions), not sure on the exact formula now though :\ Edited December 4, 2012 by wartoc1
Twist of Fate
Thanks for bringing that up, I'll leave it as is for now and put it on my list of things to research. Edit: You were right about the lowering and I changed it accordingly! Edited December 8, 2012 by TakerMayFire
