Hah, that is such a good question. Years later from all the drama, I am not sure what to think of Beeboy. I have a few good memories of him from RuneScape, because he was quite a bit different there than he was on the forum. However, I do not miss the forum Bboy, at least. He screwed over so many people on account of his own vanity, that it is hard to not feel annoyed when seeing that damn smiley. He was ultimately the reason why the old Invisionfree forums were lost forever. If you ever find yourself going back to old threads here, imagine how it would have been to have had access to the stuff before November 2005. I think Beeboy will always go down as an extremely overrated person who thought himself more important than Sal, and faceplanted hard. It was very amusing when it was proven he was hardly a good guide writer (Neo showed him that), he was bad at creating GFX (he just traced in-game sprites) and he was not more popular than the Santafish since his own forum failed hard.

You give some valid complaints, but I doubt you can transfer a book 1:1 to the movie format and retain what makes it special for everyone. I agree with everything you say, and I genuinely think that Part 1 deserved more... but at the same point, I still enjoyed it for what it was. It was far better than the first few adaptations of the story, and I remain hopeful for part 2. I think of this as the entire craze surrounding Lord of the Rings 20 years ago. I loved the hell out of the novel, and I was greatly disappointed about certain choices in the movie trilogy, but the trilogy itself was fantastic to watch for what it was. I went into Dune part 1 and came out of the experience with a sense of joy and satisfaction, just as I did when watching Fellowship of the Ring. I think that Fellowship of the Ring dropped the ball with skipping the entire trip to Bree, because that fleshes out the relationship between the four hobbits so well, and the movies did not really set that up well enough. That said, I understand why it was cut, and the movie stands on its own legs, even without the Barrow-downs and Tom Bombadil. I feel the same way about Dune part 1. Breath of the Wild does the exploration aspect and first play experience of this Hyrule better, but Tears is an improvement in almost every other facet

It has been a fairly good spring period in general for games, with Diablo IV, Street Fighter VI and Tears of the Kingdom being absolute smash hits just the last month alone.
