it is

the first 20 minutes of the battle of winterfell were one of the best pieces of battle I ever saw

beautiful cinematography and obviously very much influenced by saving private ryan

Episode 2 was the peak of the season too - obviously none of the goodbyes or somber moments mattered in that episode, but still amazing nonetheless.

I agree

that at least was some good writing and directing

...there just was not enough good writing and directing to bring the show to a conclusion at a satisfactory pace.

pretty weird they ended this season with a recap episode of next season...

They were also acting weirdly smug in those post-episode vlogs, when the plot holes were vividly clear.

Which of course spawned the 'While so-and-so kind of forgot about such-and-such' memes

I haven't gotten into either of those - right now, I've been binge watching Billions

Chernobyl also wrapped up tonight, which was fantastic but sad. As usual =/

A friend of mine mentioned that Sekiro combat would be perfect for Star Wars:

That game is a lot of fun

What turned me off from "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" was the fact that movement animations seemed clunky, and I just find it so hard to see a lightsaber functioning as a baseball bat with no cutting power. There was a part where you see a cut mark on the entire length of a Trooper's waist, and no dismemberment. I get that it would not be very family friendly, but it removes one of those things that just makes lightsabers awe-inspiring.

This, however, I am excited about. I have spent the past days trawling through various D&D books to figure out what to buy and set up certain Roll20 stuff for a campaign I am going to run, so.. I am in a pretty big D&D groove now. Plus... Baldur's Gate sequel made by the Divinity: OS creators? Heck yeah! :ice:

I know that game will likely not release for two years or so, but I am still very happy to know that it is currently in development. I am very optimistic.
