What happens if Foles wins another SB?

Well it probably won't happen because I think the Vikings will beat the Bears but probably Foles>Wentz at that point. Wentz is honestly a better passer -- his pass rating is actually higher than it was last year. The main issues are 1) Wentz isn't nearly as mobile as he was last year, probably because of confidence issues and 2) the offensive play calling has been rough because we lost our best RBs. For some reason the team plays better behind Foles though and I guess that's really what counts. Another thing to consider is Wentz is 4 years younger than Foles.

I am going Wentz>Foles if Foles does not win the SB. But what do you think?

I think Wentz's back injury was rather progressive and that he was dealing with earlier symptoms of it when he first came back - from what we saw last year, he would definitely be better than Foles in the long term so I think Philly have to keep Wentz regardless. The thing with Foles is that playoff performances aside, his regular season consistency has always been iffy and you could argue that inconsistency would cost them a playoff spot.

Aesthetically this is super awkward for the locker room but IMO if Foles wins another one, you kick in the mutual option for 2019 and start him until Wentz is 100% healthy, then trade him since the market for Foles is going to be insane next season. Somewhere in that period, Doug Pederson is going to have to figure out a way to get Wentz confident again and adapt play calls around him again. I don't know what they can do about all the RB injuries because it's all been luck, but I think Carson Wentz can still bounce back in 2019.

It's all very strange, plus I also agree Philadelphia will probably not win it all this year. I think the Saints have it.

I really don't think we'll keep both Foles and Wentz because Foles is owed too much next year. I am glad you are not on the Foles bandwagon though because so many people are on it here in Philly.
