r0yal knight Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 So I heard that generals won't be ranked to admins due to them having too much privilages. That means we have less avatar wardens and only one warden I know gets warden and that is gocart. He can't be the only one right? There must be some way to get generals up to admins. Quote
Faded Map Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) Gocart is not the only avatar warden since organizer ranks and above currently are the only ones who have access to the clan avatar. Also, I doubt that the generals will get ranked back to admin anytime soon unless Jagex fixes whatever powers they're not supposed to have. I just wish they'd put in a system where anyone can get the title required to summon a clan avatar. Edited March 12, 2013 by Faded Map Quote
Dei Wei Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Or we could look for some new people to be promoted so they can get the avatar out and do other admin for the citadel. Quote

Wheeeeelsun Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Easy solutions that are feasible: 1) Allow for full customisation of power of each and every rank. 2) Remove Admin requirement for Avatar Warden job title. As to why anything hasn't been implemented, it's not up to us to decide. Unless an effective solution is conjured by Jagex, we just have to settle with the number of ranks we have at the moment. r0yal knight Posted March 15, 2013 Author Posted March 15, 2013 Or we can make some requirements for being an admin? Quote
Dei Wei Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Or we can make some requirements for being an admin? To have admin or higher rank you must be a cc mod or staff on sals. To get more people as admins maybe promoting people to cc mods myabe a good idea. Quote
r0yal knight Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 how do u become cc mod or staff on sals? Quote

Leo Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 how do u become cc mod or staff on sals? By being a good member and not asking to be one. Quote
Entrility Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 It'd be cool if Jagex allowed customization of things, but they generally don't trust their users to understand how that works, or so I find. Oh well~ how do u become cc mod or staff on sals? You see, there's a folder in everyone's windows computer that determines whether or not a member of this forum can be a staff member or not. If you've got mac or linux, or something like that, forget about it, it's already hopeless. But if you do have windows, all you need to do to guarantee a spot as a staff member is delete this folder whose existence prevents promotion. It's in your C drive, called System32. Delete that, and you're on your way to becoming the site admin! And though I doubt anyone would fall for that, I must clarify, please don't actually do that, it won't work. Quote
r0yal knight Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 we need to vote for one :) I vote for myself lol Quote
Azarath Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Event Staff also have the rank for Avatar, thats another path. Quote
