Entrility Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 (edited) My lovely log. Will definitely make this pretty later on. Day 1: Levels: Got to 30 woodcutting: Bank: Noteables: Begged asked the good players in Lumbridge for gp to buy a steel hatchet. A nice player named Boxxy gave me 200gp. <3 Got a sapphire from a mysterybox event, and 20gp from an old man event. Ran into one of these guys, who broke my axe! :( Notes: Was good to get back into the game that was around when I started, even if I had to get members. I might have to look into some of the member features, although as a pure freeplay prior to this, I feel prejudiced against anything members. Also, it was pretty neat seeing some of the folks I remember from when I used to play and be active on Sal's. RS'07 is addictive, I must say. I much prefer it to the silly 'ol current version. Goal for tomorrow: 30 mining and smithing, and possibly a quest or two. Day 2 Levels: I missed level 17 >.< and a few other level-ups I would have liked to have capped, like 10 attack. Overall levels for the day: Bank: Quests: What a lovely reward for a rare, priceless shield! Finished the Shield of Arrav quest with s0 wasted. Thanks for the help, man! Noteables: Saw a player named Cack n Bulls, smelting cannonballs in that desert place MaSoRs always do their drop party. I lol'd Got a Pinball event. And a Molly event What a great way to catch troublemakers! And well, the security code for uploading this was "Do you drink gin? Yes or No" Heh. And I saw Sal in game!!!!@!@@! Goals for Tomorrow: 30 Mining, 30 Smithing Knight's Sword Quest Doric's Quest Day 3 Levels: First things first, I wanted to get the Knight's Sword quest under raps. To do that, I had to make a redberry pie. So, I went after the ingredients. But then, I couldn't figure out how to get my own pie dish! So I did some crafting to make one myself. So I did the Sheep Shearer quest to get to level 3: And got a few more levels along the way. By this point I could make my pie dishes, but I had an extra load of soft clay, so I finished it off anyway. And then, I realized I also needed 10 cooking to make the pie. So I did the Cook's Assistant quest to get some cooking experience, And then fished and cooked some shrimp near Draynor, After finishing the Knight's Sword quest, I was left at a much higher smithing level, allowing me to skip smelting those nasty iron ores. I also got 26 mining from the Blurite I had to mine. Leaving me with my final levels for the day: Bank: Quests: First, I did the Cook's Assistant. Some of these old quests amuse me. Afterwards, I did the Sheep Shearer, one of my favorites from years ago despite it's brevity. The penguins in the sheep costume made me laugh a lot when I was 12. After that, while I was in the area, I figured I'd go ahead and do Doric's Quest for a little boost in mining. Simple enough. And then, the Knight's Sword. This was a bit of a pain, with walking all the way across the land of freeplay, and getting all the stuff for it. First was the pie, which shown above in the levels, was trouble. But then, worse, while I was walking between Draynor Manor and Draynor towards the port/Mudskipper Point, my internet cut out for a bit, and my level 6 character died to a highwayman, dropping the redberry pie I slaved over. Actually, I had burnt 3 before I got one to cook. So, needless to say, I was disappointed. A few more attempts later and I had my iron bars and pie. Then I had to walk back to get the portrait. Ugh. The Blurite was fairly easy to get, and I finished the quest all in good time. I even saved a spare Knight's Sword for my bank. Notes: Nothing for today. Nothing cool, and no random events. Goals for Tomorrow: 30+ mining 40 crafting Magic for teleporting... jeez Day 4 All I did today was get up to 30 mining. Also, I saw Rick Turpentine. Goals for tomorrow: 40 Crafting 40 Mining 40 Smithing Maybe a quest or two? Edited March 20, 2013 by Entrility Quote

Pies Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Congrats on the Woodcutting! I remember your name from when I used to prowl the forums but not post much. Glad to see people come back for Old School! I came back for it after 4 years of inactivity. Quote
Entrility Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 Definitely look into Knight's Sword Quest- it boosted my smithing level very quickly. Glad to see you've made a log! Yeah, I figured it would be neat! And I'm going for 10 mining first at least so I can get the blurite :P Quote
