Looking at the second one because it comes with soldering stuff, which I really don't want to buy separately. But I probably will have to, anyway. But it's a website I've never heard of :P

The two kits come with different capacitors. The one on amazon comes with qty(1) 1000uf capacitor, qty(2) 470uf capacitors, qty(1) 1000uf capacitor, qty(3) 47uf capacitors, while the one from lcdalternative comes with qty(1)2200 uf, 2 1000uf, and so on (you can see it on their site).

 

Best bet is to crack open the monitor and see what you need (each capacitor should be labeled).

Worth noting that the amazon comes with: 1) Solder wire 10 inch, 1) Copper desoldering braid 8 inch. So you'll have the solder either way.

I've soldered in the past, as in practiced in one of my Autoshop classes. I can probably relearn it :P
