Army of One 138 Posted May 9, 2015 (edited) 1430911256[/url]' post='4153471']whens 200m div? Hopefully in my lifetime ;P I've been sticking to my dailies really so not much gets done, unfortunately. I'm tempted to do an hour of Slayer a day instead of Fishing like I did for Aquariums so I can steadily work towards my 120 Defence over the term and have that done so i'm free to do all the high-level PvM I want over the holidays. I got an airut damage multiplier and got this using it: Only one story mission left from the Ten Gu until I unlike the trio voyages, which should get my my first Gemstone Kaseki. I randomly checked my Xp after a farm run and it turned out to be exactly on this number, which I thought was pretty cool. Very close to 600,000,000. What I normally do is fish an inventory of sharks at the Elf Camp to make my Sushi with, with the game music on. The complete isolation, beautiful landscape, and calming music leads to some of the most relaxing game experiences i've ever had. Similar to cutting Magic trees on 07. Illmatic - Nas, 1994 "I don't even know how to start this shizzle" says a 20-year old Nas, as DJ Premier counts him into the first verse of "N.Y. State of Mind" (which he had just written) the very best Nas song of all time and the first song on what is widely considered the greatest rap album of all time. Illmatic, the pinnacle of perhaps all rap efforts ever written, established Nas as one of the greatest rappers of all time and changed the rap game forever. "Illmatic" was the very first debut album to receive the prestigous 5 Mics award from "The Source" magazine, and was highly deserving of it. The phrase "less is more" works well here, as being only 10 songs and 40 minutes long leaves no room for album filler and every song is as strong as the last from beginning to end. This album was a turning point in the rap game, as after this hip-hop began to see a huge abundance of incredible rap albums, and even to this day verses from Illmatic are sampled by other artists, including the famous "I never sleep, 'cause sleep is the cousin of death". Army of One 138 Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) So I was catching my daily shark and this happened. And thus with this serendipitous occurrence I now have all 16 fish for my Aquarium, obtaining the Golden Lava Eel egg last. Not required of course but nice to have (: I won't be pulling the plug any time soon, no thank you ._. 43m Div! I just realised I forgot to do my daily challenge. RIP. I also finished off my Airuts task and got two more sirenic scales but I have no idea where the screenshots went. ): INTRODUCING THE IRONMAN ACCOUNT TO THIS SKILL LOG! From here-on in I will be posting updates on my Free-to-Play ONLY OLDSCHOOL RUNESCAPE Ironman. In this specific post, I will post what I am adding to the original post to save you all from looking for it (and you probably wouldn't anyway if I simply asked) and I won't update this post, only the OP. IRONMAN GOALS When Ironman mode was released on 14 October 2014, there was only one drawback I took from it. I believed that an Ironman experience would be far better on oldschool RuneScape and would be far more of a challenge, and would bring back many memories of playing in that gameframe in the real 2007 and feel right at home. Unfortunately, that was when 07 was not free-to-play. But now it is. I have goals for this account of such magnitude I know not if they have ever been accomplished before - I have doubts that I will ever even achieve them. When I am able to play RuneScape I will always be making progress on this account, whether while afking Divination on my main or otherwise. I promise I will try my best not to fail them but please don't expect them in the near or even moderately distant future. :P GOALS Rune Pickaxe Rune Longsword Rune Platebody Rune Platelegs Rune Med Helm Rune Full Helm Rune Axe Rune Kiteshield Rune 2h Sword The first four items on this list will be of relative ease compared to the rest - a combined total of 212,500 coins will be needed. This can be done in the space of a few days if I grind them out for hours and shouldn't be too difficult. The helmets are a bit more irksome. The Med Helm I need to obtain as a drop from Lesser Demons, and the Full Helm from Greater Demons. I worry about Pk'ers being irksome while camping greater demons but other than that it should not be too difficult. But the last three. The Rune Axe, Kiteshield and 2h Sword. The 2h Sword requires level 99 Smithing. I can bump this down to 98 with a Dwarven Stout for 3gp, which is signifcant because that saves me 1,225,380 Smithing XP. I did some rough calculations, and if the 80% rate of Iron bar smelting stays strong this will require about 393,500 Iron ore (this is equivelant to level 99 Mining, and then twenty thousand ore more) which will be smithed into aobut 78700 iron platebodies. So if I complete this goal I will most likely be the only f2p-only osrs Ironman EVER to obtain a Rune 2h Sword, because I have never seen or heard of this being done before. This is why i'm not sure if i'll ever complete this goal, but if I do, it will be far more phenomonal than my Completionist Cape ever was. Other goals: Complete all Quests Amulet of Power Level 40 Fishing, Cooking, Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged & Hitpoints Level 60 Woodcutting & Firemaking Level 59 Magic Level 43 Prayer Leve 20 Runecrafting Once I have all listed goals I do believe that I will have completed free-play RuneScape to the point that I will have unlocked every unlockable piece of content. Except for x10 Air Runes at level 99 Runecrafting, but please, get real. I'm already suicidal enough to go for 98 Smithing and so I think we can leave that one alone. I also don't want to mine 1,737,925 Rune Essence (another 8,689,620 Mining XP) to make Body Runes all the way up to 99. No thank you. Resurrection - Common, 1994 One of the best but most unheard of rap efforts of the 90's, Common's "Resurrection" is an album that will leave you thinking after almost every line said. Produced entirely by a single producer (No. I.D.) with well-done scratches on the album-titled intro track to soulful samples of The Book of Life, this is an album I recommend to all. Resurrection has been said to remain up at the top of the 1990's classics with Nas, Jay-Z and the Wu-Tang, which is a statement I personally agree with. Track two "I Used To Love H.E.R." remains one of the greatest hip-hop metaphors (and metaphors in hip-hop (you'll get that if you listen)) of all time. And it doesn't hurt that Common passes the spotlight to his father for the outro track, which I believe to be a very nice touch. Trey 69 Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) That's very cool that you're doing an old school F2P ironman. I'll give you a few tips and show what I ended with in the spoiler. Money making for the first week is absolutely horrible (yeah, this isn't a tip). Best nature rune droppers are hill giants and then moss giants when you get to that level. I HIGHLY recommend only playing on world 385. This is a "bot world" (look it up if needed) that is not listed on the world selection screen. I am sure you can figure out why this is awesome. If you have any questions, join the "W385" friends chat. This will be full of other players like you including F2P ults and non-ultimate ironmen. I highly recommend getting your smithing up to make a mithril axe before you get woodcutting much higher than 40. A steel axe is the highest you can go without smithing. Getting a rune full helm from greaters isn't too big of a risk, especially on W385. However, it may take quite a few kills. The bonus is that the place you kill them at does not drain your prayer, so you can always protect one item and boost your range through prayer. I believe I went completely from 40 to 50 ranged only at greater demons in the wild and saw no PKers. So there's not much danger....but it may be a while Making gold necklaces and selling them to the port sarim jewelry store was the best money making method I found. It is actually much more efficient to buy the 100 packs of mind and air runes at the store in port sarim compared to actually making your runes. Minotaurs are a great method of stocking up on arrows to start training ranged. Once you start making money, it will be more efficient to buy these at the store as well. You should almost always kill only monsters that drop big bones for prayer. Mining silver in Al Kharid, then running to the furnace, smelting the bars, and then making them into tiaras is quite possibly the best crafting xp for you. I can't think of any other tips at the time, but like I said I highly suggest checking out the W385 friends chat. Best of luck to you! Experienced that so far ;P 2.Thank you for that tip, I do plan on camping Moss Giants near the endgame 3. I will look into this. Thank you for that tip, it looks very good. 4. Might do this but tbh I prefer figuring stuff out on my own ;P 5. I have considered this but in all honesty i'm the laziest thing there ever is. I have my steel one so far but don't plan on doing much Woodcutting in the near future 6. I thought that prayer restoration feature was members only? Cool, good to hear it isn't. 7. I will swap to this method once I hit 40 Smithing to make gold bars. 8. I have already used this method, I just want the Runecrafting levels because they look nice ;P 9. Currently have a small pile of Iron arrows from minotaurs that i'm waiting to use. 10. I tried Hill Giants and so far I can't do them efficiently enough to be able to camp there. Once I have higher stats i'll move back over to them for my training. 11. I currently do this method but instead of tiaras I make unstrung symbols, as I can sell them to the general store for more profit (: I planned on doing 07 f2p ironman for a long time, but I never got around to it. I saw your log and I thought "damn, someone beat me to it!" so I then made the account but didn't play on it for a month or two but now here I am (: I am very impressed by your account, well done. Do you still play on it now while doing RS3? Or have you left it behind now you've got your rune pieces? Edited May 17, 2015 by Army of One

Army of One 138 Posted May 23, 2015 (edited) alright alright who's the gal in the sig? The gf, met in English class last year  44m Div! As it was the double minigames weekend (it still is, actually) I decided to splurge on my monthly RS and play some Pest Control. I now never have to bother with Pest Control ever again, and I have Void for whichever style I feel like using at whichever boss I go to. However I'm not exactly sure where Superior Elite Void Melee will be useful. Hales suggested to me KK and Nex as a switch but I can't see any other uses myself outside of those. But it's nice to have. (: And there was also this! Decided to take a break from Magic trees and go for some faster XP, and I got this level. When i'm in the Hardwood Grove with the game music on and feels like i'm inside a PS1 game. And of course, that's an awesome feeling, so i'm really enjoying the environment and atmosphere at this place. IRONMAN I have a large backlog of screenshots of my 07 ironman account so far. Every week i'll update some of them until i've caught up, and by then I should have made enough progress to add more to my log. This week i'll be updating this log with my levels progress. (34 Crafting) Reasonable Doubt - Jay-Z, 1996 When you've been a crack dealer since you were a teenager just to support your family, witnessed person after person destroy themselves with the very thing you sell to them, and are also desperate to break into the rap scene, this is the album that you make. Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) already had some recognition for his freestyles, but Reasonable Doubt really made him known. Through this album you hear the story of a man selling drugs just to put the food on his table, and desperate to obtain a better life however he can. Like Nas (fellow New York rapper whom Jay-Z had an incredibly famous feud with later on) Jay-Z’s debut work shines brightest in the eyes of many, some believing that in the near 2 decades since this hit the music industry, Jay has never topped it. With flows on point, production from some of the best (DJ Premier works his magic once again here) and features from big names such as Mary J. Blige and Notorious B.I.G., Reasonable Doubt was everything that came from nowhere. Edited May 23, 2015 by Army of One

Army of One 138 Posted May 30, 2015 I was FINALLY blessed by my player-owned port this week. After MONTHS of daily re-rolling in hopes of a gemstone to get the tier 85 magic weapons (which are now my best magic weapons) it finally happened. Now, this is all well and good, getting my trio Gemstone voyage, which I knew was coming and was happy to finally get. But I needed another gemstone. 2 minutes later... Which came through at 73%! I was also lucky enough to get this, which isn't too helpful but nice because now I have both crossbars for the katana if I ever want them. On some different notes, This happened. Not particularly useful, and I wish it had been Saradomin, because of course that's the best Godsword. I kept it though, because I can get the meagre 500k worth that cashout is any time, but how often can I get a Lucky BGS? Glad to get the roadtrip done, did no Jmod sessions because I could never make them - they're on at around 4am for me. And the big one of this weekend - 70,000,000 Defence XP! I splurged a bit on my allotted data to get the last 1m Xp I needed for this by afk'ing Dark Beasts now that they're aggressive. Considering I only ever clicked to use Berserk, and my Legendary pet picked up all the loot for me, this was very fast both money and XP. It Was Written - Nas, 1996 The follow-up to the critically acclaimed Illmatic was It Was Written. People had very high expectations and hopes for this one, considering it's predecessor, but people were doubtful of whether such an incredible milestone in hip-hop could ever be topped. It Was Written, however, is considered by some to have done exactly that - this remains Nas's most highest selling album of all time. Opinions on It Was Written are divided - some say it was a very good album, but not as good as Illmatic. Some say it even surpassed it. In my opinion, Illmatic is much better, but there are songs on this album worth a listen. This album had the song with the first West-Coast East-Coast rap collaboration EVER - "Nas Is Coming" feat. Dr Dre. (In my opinion this is the worst song on the album but we'll ignore that) this sparked debate as many West Coasters felt betrayed by what Dre had done, and Tupac was upset at him, and was also upset by the opening lines of "The Message", track 2. Hip-hop feuds are always great. This album also featured the first song by Nas's rap group The Firm who were expected of great things but only ever put out one, terrible album that flopped dramatically. This album, alongside last week's Reasonable Doubt, where both recommended to me in the clan chat almost two years ago now. I cannot remember for the life of me who told me to go and listen to these when I asked for rap recommendations, but thank you for that. Of the two I only liked Reasonable Doubt at first, and I re-downloaded this album again this year and turns out it has some good songs.

Army of One 138 Posted June 6, 2015 Not too much happened this week, but the world event was released and that was pretty cool. XP Milestones: 45,000,000 Divination!! Really happy with this one. 19,000,000 Farming Turns out last week I forgot Ironman content, where I was going to upload quests. Oops. So this week i'll do double content, with the quests update AND what I would have put in this week. Quests: This week's update: I played a little bit of Ironman and decided to do lots of Mining. I mined lots of iron, silver, and coal, and managed to get myself these! Got some other levels here and there: And I'm now down to the final chapter in the free-to-play legacy... Infinite - Eminem, 1996 You may be a fan of this rapper, but I won't be surprised if you've never heard of this album. Being his first studio effort, and before even thinking he'd ever meet Dr. Dre himself or ever be famous, Infinite sold around a thousand copies in local Detroit and got little to no radio play. Which is unfortunate, because I really like this album. It's a short, 37 minute example of a huge rap fan finally making his own album, with Illmatic samples and lyric adaptions being found twice in the same song and smatterings of other similarities to older rap albums - WEGO is almost a clone-copy of Common's WMOE from his 1994 album Resurrection. hyping up his own song instead of Common's with his best friend Proof on the microphone. Paul Rosenberg, later Eminem's manager from 1999 to the present day, bought a copy of Infinite on tape from Em at the rap competition that would eventually get him Dr. Dre attention. This album has become somewhat of a rarity these days, with original copies on Vinyl going for other 1,000 dollars on sites like eBay. And lucky me found it on CD at my local retail store for $20.60 NZD :D Infinite may have been slept on, but in my opinion, it really was good. His voice is drastically different to how it is now, and it's a nice change from the angry raging you find on today's albums.
