Skill Competition 7 - Mining

Normal rules apply: SoF and BoL lamps are not allowed, JoT aura not allowed, quest exp rewards not allowed, SoF exp necklaces not allowed. Basically no lamps and SoF exp boosting items are allowed.

I still wanted RC, but mining's cool too I guess. My real goal is 90 Smithing, but I'm too poor, so I've just been smithing the gold I mine, so this'll help with that.

 

What's participation going to be? I'll just be going for that again haha.

Doom only asked me to post the poll thread, I assumed he would eventually take over but it seems it's possible he will too busy this weekend to host the competition. I will be away most of the day tomorrow, if when I return Doom isn't around still I will host it myself. Saturday 1PM GMT - Monday 1PM GMT; skill: Mining.

Runetracker is very t easy to use.

 

Just go to the website, create clan competition, list all the names in the box. Pick a time on the right. UK time is 1hr ahead of GMT atm fyi.

 

Update it at the beginning/ends of competitions.

Does 150k exp sound fair for participation? That's about 3 hours at LRC.

200-250k would probably be better Dimos, 150k seems pretty easy. What does everyone think?

250k sounds good. That's 4-6 hours at LRC depending on your method.

I forgot to mention this - citadel rings are allowed

They give around 22-23k extra exp and are very easy to get, all you have to do is get 1.8-2kish citadel resources. It's a reward for everyone who capped this week. If you don't have one yet then go cap, the citadel Mining skillplot rivals with the best Mining training methods so it's not exp waste.
