Minor computer time issue

My computer for some reason always thinks its three hours before the actual time. For example, for me it is currently 11:57 but it shows up as 8:57. Whenever I change the time it stays how it is supposed to be for a couple days then switches back to three hours early.

 

Any ideas?

Move to California.

 

Alternatively you could change the timezone on your computer, that might help. I don't know if that has anything to do with it though.

Check the time in the BIOS too, and, if correct, I guess it's a timezone issue. Windows 7? Click on clock -> settings -> timezone settings (or whathaveyou in your English windows).

 

Since hte issue appears to happen when your clock gets synchronised, take a look at clock -> settings -> Internet Time tab and check the settings.
