Monitor Screen goes Dim all of a sudden

So I turned on my monitor 10 minutes ago (ASUS VW192T), and the Asus logo showed, got brighter, then my monitor turned on. The screen was a little dimmer then usual, and slowly got dimmer to the point where it's too low. I'm using it righ tnow, and on my second monitor, the brightness is fine.

 

 

I don't know what happened - There was a power outage in my area, even though my monitor was off, could it have been that?

 

 

How do I fix this problem?

Edit - Also, the menu buttons don't work. They flash up for a second and then goes back to the display.
