Ak-47 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 It happened today - I reformatted my computer yesterday, and it happened yesterday when I was playing CS:GO. Turned off, turned back on. Same thing happened today, what's up with that? Quote
Bwauder Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 It sounds like either an overheating or PSU problem, tried running it open case to see if any fans are failing or particularly noisy? Quote
Egghebrecht Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 get a can of pressurized air and open your case and clean out every fan, heat sink and the like it's almost certainly as simple as that if it's a laptop try cleaning out the fans from the outside if it's an old case it might be big cables (like those going to a drive) that get in the way of cooling if that is the case clean out dust first and tie them together with tie binders or tape or whatever non metal thing you find Quote
Ak-47 Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Will do those things, thanks. Another issue - I just got it 2 minutes ago - "Windows Plug and play service has terminated, you are about to be logged off" message came up. What should I do? Quote
