Da Scotsman 3 Posted January 19, 2014 I appreciate that the "I've returned from my long and unnoticed absence!" topics are a bit cliché but thought I'd just go on and make one none the less :P Absolutely no idea how long it's been since I was here or what the hell is going on in Runescape (RS3? New combat system?) and to be honest I'm not particularly bothered and have no plans to start playing again. Just back to hang out and add another method of procrastination now that university is starting to get serious (3rd year engineering. Eugh). Unfortunately from what I've seen the forums in general look less active. Still though a nice sense of nostalgia at being back and will stick around for a while at least. That was a strangely worded sentence. It came to my attention, a long while ago, that a major reason many people quit faking, is that it started requiring more and more complex software. Characters were harder to cut out, they didn't fit in new places, anti-aliasing had the potential of being a nice doggy! to deal with, and the large screens were annoying. Haha I'm afraid while I originally hail from Edinburgh (was still living at home at the time of the blogs conception) I'm actually studying up in Aberdeen. Glad someone else can sympathise with the horrendous workload/sudden increase of 3rd year.
