We didn't hijack the thread - you posted it. If you didn't want your opinions discussed and criticized, you shouldn't have posted them. If a thought or opinion is truly arguable (which yours is in many aspects), reasonable debate and critiques make it much stronger than just a one-sided discussion.

 

And I'm just smiling at the one calling people out on "childish behavior." :)

I put it to you that if you discussed without resorting to needless insults, people would be far more willing to listen. If you want normal discussion, you're going to have to change your attitude.

Watching this guy push all of your buttons is hilarious, you guys need to stop taking everything so seriously. Runescape is a pretty bad game right now in the scope of things.

They're terrorist-minded toddlers and I'm making them push keys on their keyboard through my RuneScape sad/mad feels. I'm actually surprised they're taking all of my insults to heart. I've been on the internet too long, it is just normal to me when chatting online to be like that. In person, I'm much nicer lol. I just gave my girlfriend a half hour back rub before I fell asleep, because she worked a long day. ;)

 

Then I woke up and unplugged her phone and it was weird, because her phone was zipped up in a pouch. I unzipped it and turned it on and about two minutes later the phone vibrated with messages. Some black guy was texting her about how fun their night was. Aweeeeeee damn.. ;/

 

Anyways, that is another reason RuneScape sucks.. it takes all your time away and makes your girlfriend screw around with other meat.

B) None of us here are really that worked up, and we aren't that flustered with your stance on Runscape (like stated before, many of your points we agree with). We just don't like you being a dick.

As an ex clanner I have to disagree with a lot of you guys, sorry. Warbands is nice, okay. But it only happens once every eight hours. It's also hogged by warbands fcs (likely due to its irregularity). Although I like it (not for the experience but because it is the last place PvP happens), saying that warbands is enough is... wrong. However it is a step in the right direction. We need more things like warbands. Similar to what 07scape is doing. Legacy will probably help PvP as well, but even before EOC PvP was pretty much dead.

 

It really upset me that there was all of this planned content into the game for runefest and nothing involved revitalization of the Wilderness. Jagex is probably going to say Legacy is their attempt to restore PvP and that is not enough. The most fun I ever had in this game was PvP and it's the reason why I didn't quit like all of my irl friends. Now I'm not sure if I will be playing past the summer; if PvP was revitalized then I would play indefinitely.

 

Tl;dr: Saying Legacy and Warbands as an answer to PvP issues is not enough. Are they good steps forward? Yes. But it's not going to get you back to where you were. And what's worse is that there isn't much else being planned.
