Divine Locations are created with the Divination skill, and give lots of resources extremely quickly, until you hit your daily limit. They have extremely high XP/time and GP/time ratios, and are worth doing daily.

 

Your daily limit depends on your total level, maxing out at 250 at 2500 total. Every resource harvested by yourself and every noted resource received from others using your divine location will count toward your limit, with some resources filling up your limit faster than others.

 

You may place as many divine locations as you want per day, but can only create 1 per day.

 

If you want XP you should harvest from divine locations that other players place, and not place any of your own. If you don't care about the XP and want quick profit, you should place divine locations of your own in busy places.

 

The best place to go for Divine Locations is World 48 Burthorpe bank at 0:00 UTC. To check time, press alt-` to access the developer's console, then type anything.

 

If you cannot access World 48, World 2 Burthorpe bank is the next best thing.

 

If you miss the daily reset, your best bet is to go to World 134 DG bank at xx:45 when sinkholes end.

 

Divine locations placed on World 48 are almost exclusively yews, with occasional box traps. World 2 has everything else.

 

Most divine locations can be harvested at a rate of 1 resource per 1.2 seconds. Magic logs and Rune rocks are the only exceptions I can think of off the top of my head.

 

The best divine locations for money are Magic tree, Addy rock, Rune rock, Herb patch 2, and Herb patch 3. Rune rocks are the best for money if you are using someone else's location since you don't have to pay the 6 rune ore to create one yourself.

 

Yews are the best choice for XP, giving up to 43750 woodcutting XP per day, boostable by Lumberjack, Wisdom, Clan Avatars, and Bonus XP. The virtual XP rate of divine yews is over 400kxp/h. I say virtual because you are not able to stay for an hour at a time.

 

The best way to do Divine locations is do two days' limits at once, because your daily limit will not reset until you log out. That is to say, only do divine locations once every 2 days, and use both days' limits at once.

 

Log onto World 48 or 2, 5 minutes before the daily reset, activate Wisdom if you have it, and start harvesting resources to fill your first daily limit. Once you cap, exit to lobby and log back in, and fill your second daily limit.

What chaos hahah.

 

I get my daily gathering during the few minutes leading up to Sinkholes. However, that is only on the sinkhole world. Burth is packed on almost any world after tick. Good info here. This could be a good short guide for the site if you clean it up a bit and maybe point form some of the information. It's useful.

How much can you make from divine herb patches at the daily reset? I can only do oaks but I think I still made 30k or something.

Herbs are hard to calculate due to the randomness.

 

Yews are over 100k profit, and Boxes are about 50k profit. Rune rocks are over 200k profit.

I think i will still utilize the box trap for hunter experience and also small payout of cash. I also use the pawya meat in hunting Grenwalls. :)
