graphic zoom out

I'd suggest going for a clean new installation of your operating system

 

and if the computer is really old you might want to think about setting up a dual boot with linux where you can use that linux partition to play (browser) games in

linux is much less resource heavy for your computer than windows (and it's free)

 

but if that is too complex just make a backup of all your files and format and re-install your computer from scratch

that alone solves quite a few performance issues

more so if you take care not to install any new unnecessary programs aka 'bloatware'

 

 

 

also for runescape do use the official runescape client, it helps a lot performance wise
