Got Global Agenda. It's pretty sweet. Made a tank character then wanted to try out a Medic, and now Medic is my main as you get into groups WAY faster. :madsing:

Also, League of Legends is awesome at the moment. :grindteeth:

Wow, just wow. For years Age of empires 2 was my favorite game that I have played with the good old keyboard and mouse. After 30 hours I beat Dragon Age and have been amazed, and also dissapointed. Not dissapointed for the game itself, but for the sequel. Not everything was left done with the first game

I want to find Morrigan after she ran off with my child.

I've heard Awakening does not continue this storyline and it seems the sequel will not either. I think I'll never know what happened and the game has truly made me care.

Damn, you've really made me want Dragon Age. Shame I just went on the Can You Run It thing and I'm like half the minimum specs needed for it. :wizard:

God, I hate my comp.

EDIT: It's my video card that's the problem.

Can anyone recommend any cheap ones?

Well what's your system specs? Just to make sure it would work... i'd say the cheapest gaming card at the minute that would do it would be a 4670 or a GT 240 for around £60. Could probably get a 4650 or a GT 220 for £40-£50 but i wouldn't go any lower.

Okay, judging by the spec sheet you should be able to install a new graphics card. My only concern would be the Power Supply, which may not be able to cope with the extra draw. But what's your budget? As i said before, for a decent graphics card you're looking at £40-£60+ and for a new, reliable, PSU (which may not be necesarry but would definately be a worthwhile investment) i don't see any reason to spend any more than £35.

Ok, cheers. Budget was around £50 but I'm sure I can budge it up to 52.

Yeah, odds are you'll be fine PSU wise too, considering it's 40nm. I just feel uneasy trusting pretty much anything to a generic brand unit.

Anybody else play Teeworlds? It's pretty good as a timefiller...

If you want a new graphics card for cheap and low power draw definitly go for the 4670, I managed to get one into a 3 year old dell and it works fine with the psu.

This is the one I got: http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProd...;source=froogle

Althought I think there might be a 1gb model that might be worth a look

Still a great card, but it's a fair bit slower than the GT 240, which has 40nm technology (less heat and power draw). And i believe it's EOL so it's harder to find good deals - Scan have quite steep delivery rates but Ebuyer offer a free 5 day service.

You guys might want to check out this.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/630/

Started off as a mod for UrT, but is now a standalone game using the Source engine. shizzleload of weapons, 4 player co-op, top down gameplay, 'boss' aliens (like the special infected in L4D), achievements, stats, Steamcloud, etc.

Oh, and it's FREE. Plus you get a free hat in Team Fortress 2 if you complete one of the achievements. It's going to take 2 hours to download on my comp. :grindteeth:

Thanks for that, looks interesting and should work under Wine too. I just wish they'd hurry up and port Steam to Linux, it's annoyingly slow in Wine so i barely ever use it, and when i do i forget my password. Not good :grindteeth:

Ya I got that yesterday, but online wasn't working. The practice level is fun though, I've never played many top-down shooters.

And I'll have to hold back my ORD, I wasted at least half my ammo on the first run-through because I didn't know there's a clip system where you lose any unused ammo when reloading. :grindteeth:

Happened to me as well. Shot a few shots to take down one of those hand things, reloaded (because I reload in quiet spots, it's instinct) and I had 'lost 96 ammo from the old clip' :madsing:

Plus it was all confusing. It took me ages to dispense ammo for myself, didn't know the tech had to unweld doors and things so I was trying to do it myself. Think there are endless monster respawns too, so I didn't know if I had to push forward or go back.

That is quite a good option. Its just whether or not I can get my brother to go into the shop and buy it for me...

Alternatively should I just wait for New Vegas?

Would also be a good option, but it seems like you've already played that kind of game before no?

I'm getting a new gaming PC for about 600 bucks, and it's supposed to arrive today. Check it out.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16883229193

Good deal, or not? Either way, I'm getting it today. The anticipation is killing me.

Looks okay, the only thing i would worry about would be the PSU but it should be fine.

I got a joystick for BF2. It's awesome.

Yeah, it is indeed. Just wait until you master flying jets completely, you can fly around the whole game without being shot down. Just be careful of bombing enemy spawns though, I've been kicked from a few servers for that.

EDIT: Also found a decent program that ISN'T FRAPS for recording. It's sweet and doesn't lower FPS as much as FRAPS does. Also, it saves the file on one file, rather than two minute videos all the way through. Oh yeah, and smaller file sizes!!!
