To get 99/120 you need to spend hundreds of hours in combat (which sucks if you're maxed) and even after this there's a net loss of millions of gp because invention is so expensive to train. Plus it has a funky XP curve so I doubt I'll even get back to 90+ all again. Booo! The main purpose for this skill is to act as a item sink, which it has acted for items like barrows but not for the most important items like skilling resources.
