Cody Michael
The closest store to me that sold Steam wallet cards, which was actually in walking distance, packed up and left the week before the sale started. Divine intervention.

reepicheep
Bought Hyper Light Drifter (though not from Steam), it's really cool. It's sort of like a top down Zelda except the fighting has a sort of Dark Souls-y vibe to it. I'm really enjoying it so far. It's also really beautiful I think. Also got Firewatch for my birthday and damn that's a good one of those games.
Fatalysm
Random question, do other websites like GOG etc lower prices to compete with steam during their sales? I've never looked.

I've never looked. gog had it's summer sale the week before steam started it's sale GOG, GreenManGaming, Origin, Amazon and Blizzard have duked it out during past years, yes. It has dwindled a bit since Steam tends to be the powerhouse unless you are looking for specifics. :P Because of this, however, they are rarely running concurrent but rather they all have a sale of sorts during the Summer months. Leo
So, I've started Civ 5 and I have no idea what I'm doing. It was worth it, though.
Yuanrang
So, I've started Civ 5 and I have no idea what I'm doing. It was worth it, though. Civilization V falls into the cathegory of games that are summed up like this: "Hah, I played 500 hours. Now I know the basics and I have beaten the tutorial." Damn you, Dota 2. Yuanrang
B[] please Oh please, I have 1482 hours logged on DOTA 2. That is 2.5 times the amount of time you have spent on Europa Universalis IV. :P One could make the argument that you have spent countless hours on other such games, but... I have World of Warcraft. I have played 4176 hours of World of Warcraft on one of my characters.

I'll have to play a Mesoamerican nation or Ming one day...or a Japanese vassal, let alone one of the hordes. All of these have different game mechanics...it'll be fun :D Edited July 6, 2016 by Arianna

Nitua
Picked up the Stick of Truth. Awesome. But my little brother has played it more than me. He messed up one of my saves so I had to start over haha. I picked up another game but I don't believe it was on sale "Contradiction". Live action detective point and clicky game.

Leo
It's that time of year again. So far I've bought Titanfall 2 and Oblivion - playing through the campaign for Titanfall at the moment whilst trying to balance end-of-semester schoolwork. The story is great so far, but I'm terrible at multiplayer. Great game though.
Arianna
Bought a couple EU4 DLCs because they're not going to get any lower before a year or so, and an itty bitty train game...too bad that I'm stuck with a low-power laptop for one more month :(
