How do i contact Jagex?

Hey guys!

I am a really old runescape player (started in 2004).

I'm looking for someone to get in contact with that can help me get my account back from the clutches of terrible customer service.

in 2007 someone got my account banned, and its been 10 years since. The account is still banned, and since legacy mode is a thing I would love to start playing runescape again. The only thing is i don't want to start over.

 

I can log into the account just fine, and i can even see why i was muted/banned. Considering it wasn't even me that got the account banned, i was just a kid 10 years ago (im 23 now). There is no way to appeal a ban at current date, but i just can't wrap my head around why i can't get my account from 10 years ago back, and there is no way of contacting Jagex on their current website?

Yeah I've found their customer service in the past to be really poor when you want to have a dialogue about something in particular. Your best bet is probably tweeting at them and hoping for a reply - although 90% of the time that comes in a generic statement or a link to something on their website. You might be able to PM one of the Jagex Mods on reddit as they tend to be pretty on the ball and helpful about things.

Although I think Jagex customer support has improved in quality in recent years, it's still a nuts system. The only way you can get in touch with these people is twitter? Hello? Ever heard of email or phone?

on twitter they just link me to their support page, which i believe my account ban is rather unique considering its 10 years old now & doesn't state when it is lifted. I'm just worried i won't get it back. Trying to get in touch with RS mods is difficult as well.

Finally got a mod response. Seems they are playing the hands tied card, and will not be releasing my account. Its a shamee that they will treat their veterans this way. You leave an account unattended for 10 years and all of a sudden you're the bad guy. Oh well. Thanks for the kind responses Sal-goers. I will not be checking for ban appeals every day for the next year to just be disappointed.
