Guest Bigblackpick Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 You guys should put the osrs guides on your classic styled website from 2007. This site was a big part of the game for me back then and I miss the ole blue site with the crude pictures. Quote
Guitarguy Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Good idea. Fortunately, I think most of our guides are from 2007 too. Quote
Sobend Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 I agree it would be nice but I don't know if we have the resources to do that now. The best thing is to use a cache of the website circa 2007 and use that. Quote
Fatalysm Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 I've recently got really good at math! Redesigning and coding the website would take forever to do. + Nobody goes on here anymore. = Your suggestion whilst very thoughtful and nostalgic will never happen. Quote
Sobend Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 It could be done if Sal wanted to attract more viewers though but I don't know how likely that is going to happen. Quote

So the site is no longer being updated? I did notice that the most recent guide is for Back to the Freezer... Quote

I'm willing to donate a little if the cost is the problem...? Quote

It's impossible for me to repair, because I do not have administrative capabilities on the site. I can only edit webpages. I don't think it's a question of money. This is something for Salmoneus. 1 Quote

His profile indicates he has not been on since July 20th and he has not made a post this year. I would not hold your breath for a sudden return, though it could happen. Salmoneus is still apparently paying for the website. The website has always been and will always be his site, and it is his ultimate choice to keep things inactive or not. We are just along for the ride. No new guides have been added in two years now, and I think the most recent edit was a year and a half ago or so. Quote

While we're voicing our complaints I can't believe Sal hasn't created a brand new and better Runescape for us his loyal leeches, Runescape 4. Quote
