Go back to old style website for OSRS

You guys should put the osrs guides on your classic styled website from 2007. This site was a big part of the game for me back then and I miss the ole blue site with the crude pictures.

I agree it would be nice but I don't know if we have the resources to do that now. The best thing is to use a cache of the website circa 2007 and use that.

Redesigning and coding the website would take forever to do.

It could be done if Sal wanted to attract more viewers though but I don't know how likely that is going to happen.

The site editor is broken so I can't update anything right now. It's been that way since the summer of 2017.

And it's impossible to repair? That means we're already 18 months behind the curve, and we've probably lost users because of this...

It's impossible for me to repair, because I do not have administrative capabilities on the site. I can only edit webpages. I don't think it's a question of money. This is something for Salmoneus.

Sorry for slow response--I missed it when you posted.. His profile indicates he has not been on since July 20th and he has not made a post this year.

I would not hold your breath for a sudden return, though it could happen. Salmoneus is still apparently paying for the website. The website has always been and will always be his site, and it is his ultimate choice to keep things inactive or not. We are just along for the ride. No new guides have been added in two years now, and I think the most recent edit was a year and a half ago or so.

While we're voicing our complaints I can't believe Sal hasn't created a brand new and better Runescape for us his loyal leeches, Runescape 4.
