Does my account still exist?

Hello,

Tried logging in for the first time in many years. Today is exactly 18 years since I created this account on the new sal's forum. I've tried to sign into the game a few times over the years, but I couldn't. Is there a way to tell if my account still exists? Do accounts get deleted? I last logged in in around 2010.

I started in 2005, played for about 5 years. Had membership for a couple years. Was player mod for about 3 years. 

Does the RuneScape I remember still exist?

It says to log in using my email, I enter the email I used to create the account but says account doesn't exist. The last time I logged in it just needed user name and password.

Did you log onto Old School RuneScape or RuneScape? I believe all accounts were forcibly transitioned to RuneScape accounts in 2013, meaning your old account would only work on the more modern RuneScape version, but not on OSRS.

I tried logging into the forums. I had a second account "Big Fish Jr" and I was able to log in on that one. Which really worries me with my main account, I had years of playing and most skills were level 99. 

Is there a way to see if the account exists? It tells me username/password is wrong when I try to sign in. I 100% know my password is correct.

Missed this topic. They don’t delete accounts — maybe try to recover. It might have had its password changed.

Your account exists. You have personal recovery questions based on the username provided. You just need to fill out the form and recover it.
