Arcane Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Blah, I hate being grey now. Comeon, it's only a color. You're still the same ol' person, aye? :/ Feel sorry for the demoted ones, but I'm sure it wasn't done without a reason. :(
Psv Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 (edited) I'm not upset or anything. I knew that my attitude in the few days were poor. :( And Cameron, if I got demoted because of your lame warn, I'm outta here. Well okay then. I guess it's their own fault. :/ Well at least for Robo, he wasn't active much. But for iTushy.. :( Edited June 29, 2006 by Mertuh
PrettyObvious Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Sorry about loosing your title, but I think this is a good decision. Why whine about loosing it? It just makes people think that you didn't deserve it in the first place.
Hotgirl 2 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I believe life is more fun as a normal member, because of your title you would get in trouble for little things, because you are meant to be setting an example. As a normal member you would get away with such things, but their is always a limit...I say enjoy it to all those who were demoted.
Zachary Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 (edited) Sal I think this was what needed to be done. I miss snowy still AND dont flame me for my opinions. EDIT:spelling Edited June 29, 2006 by Zachary
Dissentor Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Ok thanks for clearing this up Sally Ugh, just because Steve insists on striving to piss off all the admins, doesn't mean you have to call Sal that too. Sal I think this was what needed to be done. I miss snowy still Snowzak retired. I don't see how that has anything to do with DM demotions. :( Why whine about loosing it? It just makes people think that you didn't deserve it in the first place. Quoted for the truth.
Blingking502 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I saw this comming. But so far I only know of 2 that have been demoted. But some of them that are still DMs makes me wonder how well the evaluation was. Ive seen rule breaking and spam from one DM that I will keep anonomous, that wasn't demoted. Now im not complaining about this im stating my opinion. As for anything more for me, you wont see it in here. -BK
Master Zone Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Why does it matter if you are a DM or not? I mean you get a shinny easter egg, oh wow. NOT! But really. If you get upset about not being a DM any more then you need to take a break from the forums. Then think to your self WHO CARES. I mean really its just a meaningless thing on a forums some guy made.
Sir Hasif Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Sorry guys, but I guess if it was a voted desicion by the mods and admins, it must have been coming. ~ JD
Aro Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 (edited) Sorry guys, but I guess if it was a voted desicion by the mods and admins, it must have been coming. ~ JD i agree with JD Edited June 29, 2006 by aro999

Mr Brownstone Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Sorry to be the partypooper, but I've thought of you unworthy of DM the second you said "Texas Sucks" on Irc. Someone doesn't deserve to be a DM just because they don't like the state you're from? Guess you must think that I don't deserve DM either then. :( Well actually, that whole phrase started a huge flame attack at me. And I know Sal's ain't affiliated, but it's those same people. That's like someone being nice to me an America, and being mean to me in Europe. No affiliation, same person. And Dissentor, if you really look down on southern states, I guess that makes you a stereotype democrat
Aranathor Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 aww man... i thought the demotions would be for inactivity but obviously not... shame really, always thought some of the DM's would have made good Mods (NOT JUST THE DEMOTED ONES) anyways, have fun being narby members again

King Of Monra Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 All of you chill and leave the flaming and fighting out of this if you want to argue with each other, take it over in pm.
Vanessa Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 (edited) sorry to those who got demoted :/, but there is always a reason for everything, whether you like it or not, that's the truth :(. is it okay to say good luck to those who are running for dm? and what does dm mean anyway :(? i was reading the posts without knowing what that meant . ~sakura~ Edited June 29, 2006 by Tianshi
Guest The Evolution Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 It is a shame to see that many DM's have lost their position but it is also great as some of the active members on these forums get a chance for a good position. I hope the next DM's really are the right people who deserve it.

mooncatcher Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I don't think it will harm sal's really, only if you are a good friend of them. A lot of the persons who don't deserve it were chosen because they were some of the first, not because they earned it.

Durah Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Chubacca, that is how most forums start out, Im not sure how Sal's started, as I wasnt here, but it is a possibility. ~Mole
Dissentor Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 you are soo wrong. Its not just cause they found the site earlier Them others... He is "so" right. Even some moderators, who probably wouldn't be moderators if they had joined a few months later, were appointed to their positions because they were one of the first people on the forums. Of course, rudimentary maturity is still required, but seniority was a major factor when the forums first started.
Mr Brownstone Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Yeah, thats right Diss, if lets say 1800 joined a few months later he may still be a moderator or below.
