Temple Trekking Minigame Guide

Introduction

Temple Trekking is a special minigame you can play after the completion of the required quests (Below).

Your goal is to successfully escort your companion to the Paterdomus temple. Note that you do not have to walk all the way there... Further explanation will be given further in the guide.

Temple Trekking can be a decent alternative to get some Experience books, herbs, snake hides, shade bodies and materials. You can also get some good combat experience.

This game will mostly test your ability to defend someone you protect.

This minigame is Dangerous. You WILL lose your stuff if you die! You will also have to use some of your own resources.

There are, however, different stages of difficulties and routes.

This is your chance so play "Bodyguard" and have the opportunity to get interesting rewards in the end!

_________________________________________________________________________

Requirements

In order to try and play this minigame, you must have completed the following quests :

It is also recommended to have done the Haunted Mines Quest and have at least 43 Prayer plus a decent combat level (70+).

_________________________________________________________________________

Getting There

getheremap.png

There are multiple ways to get to the minigame, all shown on this map.

  • Paterdomus Path : Take this path if you are coming from varrock. You also end up there after the completion of a sucessfull trek. You are most likely going to encounter a lot of Ghasts, however.
  • Haunted Mines Shortcut : Take the regular Paterdomus path, and when you are the haunted mines, head south east. You should find a fence to jump over to get into Burgh De Rott.
  • Fairy Rings : If you have completed the Fairy Tale Part 2 Quest, you can use the fairy ring to get into Morytania by dialling the letters B-K-R.
  • The Swamp Boat Pass : The fastest way from canifis, and you are less likely to encounter ghasts.
  • Tentacle fail point : If you take the Hardest route and you fail or escape from the Tentacle monster, that is where you will end up. It is also a good way to try again.

_________________________________________________________________________

Equipment

Before starting, it is highly recommended you have the following items :

  • A Rod Of Ivandis (For Vampyres)
  • Guthix Balance Potions (For Vampyres)
  • A Blessed Silver Sickle (Ghasts & Vampyres, Protects from Swamp Decay & Bloom)
  • A Hatchet (For bridge repair events)
  • A Knife for Snakes (Skin them) or Bog event (Spiny Bush)
  • Wolfbane Dagger (Can be used to damage Vampyres, Alternative to Sickle)
  • Gadderhammer (For shades, if you want, only when you pass through mort'ton)
  • Druid Pouches (For Ghasts, Absolutely necessary to prevent food from rotting)
  • Salve Amulet (Can help a lot against undead monsters, From Haunted Mines Quest)
  • Good Food (Lobsters, Sharks, Monkfish, Swordfish) [You can heal your companion by using food on them to!]
  • Good Armor (That you are not afraid to lose) :
    > Rune
    > Dragon
    > Barrows
  • Good Weapons or Above :
    > Dragon Scimitar Or Longsword
    > Abyssal Whip
  • 1-4 Prayer Potions (If you want to do the hard routes)
  • A Ring Of Life (In case you almost die)
  • A Quick teleport (That doesn't take up too much space, such as a glory or ectophial, teleport slab)

When you are fully equipped, your inventory should look like this :

invtrekk.png

The way you set your combat equipment is up to you. This is only a recommended Set-up.

You might want to take more prayer potions for the hard tasks. However, don't strip out too much food, because you can heal your companion with it, and yourself, of course. You can also bring stat raising items, as some fights can be difficult.

All these recommendations are for you to be prepared for any eventual events.

_________________________________________________________________________

The Villagers

When you feel you are ready and prepared, speak with one of the six villagers.

You can ask them questions if you want. When you are ready, tell them you can bring them to Paterdomus.

burgerderotten.png

If your companion dies during your trek, you will have to escape your event and return to Burgh De Rott and start over. Even if they die, they will be at Burgh De Rott again, therefore you can try as many times as you like.

There are 3 sets of difficulties :

Easy

Easy villagers are able to defend themselves and have the most hitpoints. However, this does not mean they can't die.

1ap1.gif

Dalcian Fang

HPheart.gifHitpoints : Highest

swordminifa3.gifCombat Ability : Good, but less than Fyiona.

chest.pngReward Level : Low

notescrollrd9.gifNotes :

Dalcian has more endurance than any other. He will try helping you in combat events, and is well capable to defend himself. The only drawback he offers are his low rewards as he is easier to escort.

On harder routes he might be helpless, however.

5jw8.gif

Fyiona Fray

HPheart.gifHitpoints : High

swordminifa3.gifCombat Ability : Best of all villagers.

chest.pngReward Level : Low

notescrollrd9.gifNotes :

She will sometimes attack an enemy by herself.

Fyiona is the strongest of villagers. She has less life than Dalcian, but she can deal more damage. She can help you whenever needed, but this doesn't mean you must not watch her. She can perish quite easily on the harder routes. She will give lower rewards.

_________________________________________________________________________

Medium

These villagers cannot fight back and have less hitpoints than the easy ones.

4dr3.gif

Jayene Kliyn

HPheart.gifHitpoints : Medium-low

swordminifa3.gifCombat Ability : Poor, worse than Valantay.

chest.pngReward Level : Medium

notescrollrd9.gifNotes :

Jayene is a medium leveled villager, but she is quite fragile compared to her partner Valantay. She can fight back, but it is not really a good idea to have her fight. She can handle things well enough on the easy route, but you might consider bringing food supplies for her on the harder routes. She offers decent rewards.

2iq4.gif

Valantay Eppel

HPheart.gifHitpoints : Medium

swordminifa3.gifCombat Ability : Poor

chest.pngReward Level : Medium

notescrollrd9.gifNotes :

Valantay is thougher than Jayene. He doesn't do much damage either. He can be quite resilient on the easy route, but you should watch him carefully on the harder routes, and bring food for him. He will offer medium rewards.

_________________________________________________________________________

Hard

These villagers are extremely fragile, as they have low hit points, and have no combat abilities whatsoever. They fight back, but they never even manage to damage a foe. They keep engaged in combat until that creature is dead, therefore they will die easily. They will give the greatest rewards. If you are up for a challenge, take them throughout the hard route!

6we0.gif

Rolayne Twickit

HPheart.gifHitpoints : Low

swordminifa3.gifCombat Ability : Poor, Often stays engaged, causing death.

chest.pngReward Level : High

notescrollrd9.gifNotes :

Rolayne Twickit is more resistant than Smiddi, and he is better in combat too... Even if he is stronger, he will easily die on easy routes... And very fast on the harder ones. Food is an absolute necessity here, and try to avoid engaging him in combat as much as possible. In the end, you might get some interesting rewards from him!

3nf5.gif

Smiddi Ryak

HPheart.gifHitpoints : Lowest

swordminifa3.gifCombat Ability : Extremely Poor, Often stays engaged with monster, causing death.

chest.pngReward Level : Highest

notescrollrd9.gifNotes :

She is the weakest of them all. She will die extremely fast if engaged in combat. She will give the best rewards as she is the weakest and hardest to escort. It is wise to plan your actions if you trek with her and bring plenty of food. If you're up for a challenge, Smiddi is the one to go with.

_________________________________________________________________________

Map Routes

When you have spoken with the desired villager and difficulty, you will be taken at the beginning of your trek :

beginpath.png

If you want to turn back at this point, close the route map and right click on the end of the path. You can also give them food to use later. You can also give food to your companion here so he/she can use it later.

From this point, your protegé will tell you to select your route :

routesxp2.gif

You and your companion are represented by the small white and red pawns. You do not have to walk all the way to the temple!

The route you select will determine the difficulty of the monsters, the chance of an encounter (Event) as well as your reward (If you make it out, that is).

Per example : If you take route two with Smiddi Ryak, you will have a Hard-Medium Trek. The difficulty of the Villager is how hard it is to defend your protegé, and the path is the difficulty of the event and level of reward.

_________________________________________________________________________

Events

Events randomly occur after you select your path. When a event occurs, you will see a Exclamation point like this on your map :

exlam.png

There are 3 Different types of events :

  1. Monster Event : You will be in a Multi-combat zone, and several monsters will appear to attack you or your escort. This is the most common and most likely event.
  2. Samaritan : A friendly figure might give you a special bonus!
  3. Obstacles : A challenging obstacle will have to be crossed...
  4. Not really an event, but, sometimes, nothing may happen and you will arrive safely at the Paterdomus Temple!

When an event happens, you will be in a Multi-combat Zone. Also, you will not be in the normal world, you will be in a small enclosed area where you must either fight/solve to continue, or escape.Your companion will be vulnerable, here. You will have to protect him/her. Not all of them can fight back. They can/will get attacked, so pay attention to their life. You can heal them with food, but only when they are not engaged in combat!.

Here is a Map Chart of all different possible Combat Zone Areas. This will also show you the Exit, Evade and Escape points. Use this to plan your tactics :

Clickamp.png

conttrek.png

At the edges of the event area, there will be small blue rocks that you can right click. This marks your Escape/Continue points. There are several different kinds and options you may find :

eventprogqz2.gif

  1. Continue Trek : This is where you must exit after the completion of an event. There is no negative outcome to this, because it usually means you completed the event.
  2. Escape : The escape point is located near your spawn point. If you do this, you will fail your trek and you will have to start over at Burgh De Rott.
  3. Evade event : Evading an event will allow you to progress in your trek, not causing you to fail. However, there are some restrictions :
    • You can always evade the events on path 1.
    • You must complete 50% (IE : Kill half of the monsters) of the event on path 2 in order to do this.
    • You CANNOT evade events on path 3 until you have killed all monsters. Afterwards, you can evade, but it would be pointless, as you can just keep going on the trek.
    • Obstacle Events cannot be evaded.

After exiting the combat/event area, you will see your progress map again.

When you arrive at the temple, you will be given a Reward Scroll that you must cash-in in the Burgh De Rott Bank. Further will be explained in the Rewards Section.

_________________________________________________________________________

Monster Events :

Some monsters appear only on certain routes, and the monster level depends on the route difficulty. You can get up to 6 monsters.

angryjuvi.png

Vampyre Juvinates

fistas7.gifLevels : 59 - 90 - 119

minipathsy2.gifRoutes : 1 - 2 - 3 (All)

miniskulldx7.gifDanger level : Medium-Low

notescrollrd9.gifNotes :

Juvinates will most likely attack you. They are immune to all weapons except Blessed Silver Sickles, Ivandis Rods and Wolfbane Daggers. The best Weapon against them is the Rod.

If you have Guthix Balance potions and have used your ivandis rod special on them after they are half-dead, you can either :

  • Return them to Human Form and get a reward
    vamprew-1.png
  • Make them angry! This will make them stronger, and you will have to kill it!
  • Instantly kill it.

If not, you may just keep damaging them until they dissapear.

ghastsq4.gif

Ghasts

fistas7.gifLevels : 79 - 109 - 139

minipathsy2.gifRoutes : 1 - 2 - 3 (All)

miniskulldx7.gifDanger level : Medium-Low

notescrollrd9.gifNotes :

You will need your Druid Pouches to defend against ghasts. Doing so will reveal them as well as prevent them from rotting your food. If you do not have druid pouches, you will have no other choice to escape, or, recharge your pouch with the Rotten Logs, bushes and stems on the ground by casting bloom with your blessed silver sickle. They will most likely attack you first. Ghasts can be tackled with regular weapons. They also give 80 prayer experience when killed.

giantsnailxl6.gif

Giant Snail

fistas7.gifLevels : 80 - 109 - 139

minipathsy2.gifRoutes : 1 - 2 - 3 (All)

miniskulldx7.gifDanger level : High

notescrollrd9.gifNotes : Giant Snails have alot of hitpoints will likely attack your companion. They also hit constantly and they have ranged based attacks... Protection from Range is recommended. Once dead, they will drop Giant Snail Shells (No current use?).

snaketk1.gif

Giant Snake

fistas7.gifLevels : 80 - 109 - 139

minipathsy2.gifRoutes : 1 - 2 - 3 (All)

miniskulldx7.gifDanger level : High

notescrollrd9.gifNotes : Snakes have a tendency to be agressive and hit often and hard. They will also attack your companion. Protection from melee is recommended on harder Treks. If you have a knife after you have killed it, you can skin it for a few Snake Hides. These Snake hides cost 20 GP Each to be tanned and can be used to craft snakeskin armor. They do not poison.

shadequ7.gif

Shade

fistas7.gifLevels : Riyl : 80 - Asyn : 110 - Fiyr : 140

minipathsy2.gifRoutes : 1 (Rare) - 2 - 3 (All)

miniskulldx7.gifDanger level : Medium-High

notescrollrd9.gifNotes : Shades are only encountered while you walk in mort'ton. They can be beaten with better ease if you have a Salve amulet and/or a Gadderhammer (Regular Weapons can do). When killed, the shades will drop the according Remains, used in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame. Shades will most likely attack you, but sometimes they attack your companion! Also, be careful, as they hit hard and often, Protect from melee is highly recommended on harder routes!. They have low defence, though.

pokeashade.png

Shades can also be slain with the halberd easily. It is quite risky, however. Simply place your companion between them and you.

tentaclemonsterfe2.gif

The Tentacle Monster

fistas7.gifLevels : Head : 140 - Tentacles - 99

minipathsy2.gifRoutes : 3 Only

miniskulldx7.gifDanger level : Very High

notescrollrd9.gifNotes : The tentacle monster is extremely dangerous. It is highly recommended to bring prayer potions and use Protect from Melee if you are going to take the hardest route and that you expect encountering this one. The monster has 4 tentacles and one head. You must kill ALL tentacles first and the head after in order to move on. If you poison one part of the monster, all of them will be poisoned as well. If you try killing the head first, it will regenerate. Kill the tentacles first.

_________________________________________________________________________

Good Event

There is only one good event... However, it is very rare.

abidorwm2.gif

Abidor Crank

minipathsy2.gifRoutes : 1 - 2 - 3 (All)

notescrollrd9.gifNotes : Abidor is probably the best event you could get. If you find him, he will heal you and raise your defence and hitpoints by 20% over your maximum limit! He will also turn Rotten Food into Stews!

_________________________________________________________________________

Obstacle Event

Obstacle events are situations where you must find a way to get across the terrain. Often, there are things you can use in your environment. In these events, it's quite useful to have your hatchet and knife with you. These Events can happen on any path.

The Bog stickrw3.gif

The bog is quite simple to cross. You will need a bladed weapon or a knife, and 3 empty inventory slots for this part.

spinybushbog.png

Begin by using your sharp weapon or knife on the Spiny Bush. You will get 3 sticks.

bog.png

You must now use the sticks on the bog to see if it is walkable or not. Each time you check it, you will be able to move one square forward. Sometimes, you may randomly lose the stick. When it says "This ground seems quite firm." you will be able to step to that spot. Progress Square by Square. Don't just walk anywhere, be careful! Once you have made it to the other end, you will be able to keep going on your trek.

The River vineshortwu7.gif

river.png

The river is quite easy to cross, but will need a knife and 3 free inventory slots. If you don't have a knife, simply search the backpack near the viny tree. Use the knife on the Viny tree 3 times, and you should obtain 3 Short Vines. Use them together, and you should have a Long Vine. Use it on the other tree, and swing across. Resume the Voyage to the temple afterwards.

swingriver.png

The Broken Bridge bridgesecmy1.gif

brokenbrid.png

Quite simple as well, since all you have to do is repair the bridge. You will need you hatchet and 3 inventory spots on this part. If you don't have one, kill the level 23 Zombie to obtain a Bronze one. Cut the 3 Dead Trees to obtain logs.

Equip your hatchet, and use all three logs on the bridge. If it is not equipped and you use the logs on the bridge, you will be told that you need a hammer in order to repair it, however, You won't need it if you Equip your axe. Move on to your trip to the temple.

_________________________________________________________________________

The Rewards

payrew.png

When you have completed your trek, you will be at the base of the Paterdomus Temple. Your protegé will give a Reward Scroll, Depending on what difficulty the route was and how well you did protecting them. You can only have one Scroll at the time.

rewardscrollsmk2.gif

The easy route will give you a Blue Scroll, the medium route a Yellow Scroll and finally, the hard route will give you a Red Scroll. These scrolls will have to be swapped-in at the Burgh De Rott bank.

There are many possible rewards, aside from the combat experience you get during events.

You will receive some items when you cash-in your certificate. Sometimes, you may get an additional tome of experience.

Here is a chart of the different possible rewards :

RewardChart.png

*Coal and Iron are generally received together at the same time and with the same amounts.

The main factors that will influence your reward are :

  1. Difficulty of route Selected
  2. Difficulty of Character chosen
  3. Difficulty and Completion of Events.

If, per example, you have escorted Hard Difficulty village on the hard route, and you encountered a tentacle monster, killing it, and sucessfully making it to the temple, the chances are you will have the greatest possible reward!

However the items you receive is completely random. The Same rule applies to the Tomes of experiences. You cannot choose which tome you receive, and they will be randomly selected for any of the following skills : Agility, Firemaking, Fishing, Mining, Slayer, Thieving or Woodcutting :

TomeChart.png

_________________________________________________________________________

F.A.Q

Q : Will i lose my stuff if i die during this minigame?

A : Yes, you will if you happen to die. This is why it is a good to bring a ring of life

Q : Do i really have to walk all the way to the temple?

A : No, you will move quickly on the "Progress map" until you encounter some events. When you complete an event you will resume the "Progress map" movement... However, when you have completed your trek, you will have to walk back to Burgh De Rott.

Q : If my companion dies, will i be able to escort him again?

A : Yes. You will find your companion in Burgh De Rott if you fail or he/she dies. There is no limit on the number of times you can do this.

Q : I can't kill the vampyres! What should i do?

A : That's because you are not attacking it with silver weapons. Try attacking it with a Rod of Ivandis, per example.

Q : I'm in a monster event, but i see no monsters!

A : That's probably because it is a Ghast event. Wait for them to come to you or search for them and use your druid pouches on them.

Q : I have no pouch charges left and i'm at a ghast event! What should i do?

A : There are things you can bloom on the Combat Zone. Bloom them with your silver sickle and add them to your pouch.

Q : I'm at the tentacle monster event, i've beat him or want to flee... but i can't go anywhere! What should i do?

A : Right-click the boat and select either Continue-Trek or Escape event.

Q : Can i choose what Tome of learning i obtain as a reward?

A : No, all rewards are random. If you receive a tome, it will be one of the following skills :

Agility, Firemaking, Fishing, Mining, Slayer, Thieving or Woodcutting.

_________________________________________________________________________

Conclusion

Temple Trekking is a quite risky minigame, although it may be challenging and somewhat fun. In the end you can get interesting rewards. It is also great to get snakehides (Giant Snakes), Shade bodies, fight difficult monsters, and test your combat strategies!

After reading this extensive guide, you should be aptly prepared for any situation...

Happy Trekking!

Seeing there is no guide for this minigame on sal's realm, i decided to start it.

I currently don't need any help, and guide progress will be slow. I will be adding large parts at a time.

Then why post this? Why not post the whole, complete guide alltogether? No matter how long it takes, it is easier to review a complete guide than single bits which are added no-one knows when.

Because, that is how i function. I Already have a guide structuration plan created, and i know how the guide will be... Therefore, you have nothing to worry about... And guides should only be referred to when they are completed, correct?

And guides should only be referred to when they are completed, correct?

If that is the case, then why bother postng an incomplete guide? It creates posts that will just add information that would be included anyway. What is wrong with repeatedly using the Post Preview option rather than posting it and getting comments that add very little to the guide?

In my opinion anything less than a complete guide shouldn't be posted. That may sound a bit extreme, so I will accept something that is 50% complete to be posted without not bothering to look at it again. This looks nothing like 50% complete, and if guide progress will be slow, what's the point in the thread being created?

People posting incomplete guides is really starting to bug me now. :o

It's making pretty fast progress now :o At least he didn't do one line? Like most of the guide nubs trying to get published these days. Even though unfinished guides bug me too. This looks like a very interesting guide and Beeboy adds quality.

Juvies on the hard route? or with a hard character.. are lvl 119 btw

(with the hardest characters and on the hardest routes)

Tentacles: Each tentacle is lvl 99 and the head is lvl 140, if you poison one part of the squid thingy, then the whole body is poisoned. Reccomended protect from Melee.

I don't know if you remember Neo, but this is how i have ALWAYS functionned. It's easier for me to use the Forum code and such instead of writing and writing in microsoft word.

And yes, i am doing fast progress on the guide. I am not overlooking details and quality. I also remind you that this is the "Guides-IN-PROGRESS" forum :)

What i mean by "referred" : Comments should be added after.

N1k : Crop the pictures :o

The only thing I wonder about is why you published the pictures. As was made perfectly clear, Mr. Beeboy doesn't like to be helped.

Ok. I am pissed. I'm not very patient these days, and you have crossed the line :

  1. This is not the proper topic to do that.
  2. Why the heck do you BOTHER doing negative comments like that? As a distinguished member, you should know BETTER... If you have a grudge/issues/complaints/commentaries/notes/details/hints/questions/suggestions against me, it should be in PRIVATE messages, not public ! You are just being rowdy and like picking on me. Such a great example of behavior coming from a DM.
  3. I ASKED him to help me. There is a reason why i don't want people to randomly help me :
It messes up my guide structuration and planning. If i asked him, i instructed him to do what was needed.
  4. I remind you that i set standards in guide writing here, and probably contributed more than you. I have "Bragging rights" and i like upholding my reputation.

What you have done is just plain stupid, go look elsewhere, maybe you will have learned you lesson and stand corrected.

If you bother me like that, it won't be very pretty. Your very lucky right now : I'm actually retaining myself from doing nasty things. I'm not a nice person to be thriffled with. Hold your comments for yourself or message me next time.

This is not the proper topic to do that.

If it shouldn't be done in this topic, which topic should it be done in?

Why the heck do you BOTHER doing negative comments like that? As a distinguished member, you should know BETTER
It's not negative comments, it's constructive criticism and facts combined into one.

You are just being rowdy and like picking on me. Such a great example of behavior coming from a DM.

She isn't picking on you. She doesn't care you used to be an Admin. It doesn't matter who it is, Simple and me will reply as if all are equals.

I ASKED him to help me. There is a reason why i don't want people to randomly help me :

It messes up my guide structuration and planning. If i asked him, i instructed him to do what was needed.

If you asked him to help you, I don't undertand why others can't. Why is n1k better than everybody else? If he can gather information, why can't others? What is wrong with stating what you need at the top of the guide and let several people contribute?

I remind you that i set standards in guide writing here, and probably contributed more than you. I have "Bragging rights" and i like upholding my reputation.

You do not set standards for guides here. I would never put one of your guides within the top 3 guides on the site. The best 3 guides in my opinion are currently Herblore help, Ranged Help and Lunar Diplomacy. At no point do I see something saying that you wrote any of those guides, meaning that you do not set the standards for guides.

If you openly admit to having bragging rights then you clearly don't write guides for the correct reason. If you like bragging rights then you write to get your name on the site rather than to get the site a good reputation that it needs, and deserves.

I don't care who contributed more, quality is better than quantity.

If you want to uphold your reputation, I suggest that you don't make posts like that otherwise it will dissappear within seconds. :o

What you have done is just plain stupid, go look elsewhere, maybe you will have learned you lesson and stand corrected.

From the two posts, it seems like you are in the wrong more than Simple. :)

Ok this is pointless, Neo.

First of all, we all need to sit down and take a Chill Pill.

We're arguing for nothing. I keep repeating myself, but yet, you do not see it. If i don't want help if i don't need it, is it not fine? I wrote a line on that. You should have Pmed me.

Oh, wait. Yes, Simple IS picking on me. It's not the first time he/she did a stupid commentary like that on me.

I DID set standards here. Maybe those guides are better by now, but i hope you realise that my guides were in the first ones, and by far were alot different than the guides you could find on other fansites : Details. I don't really care if they're not anymore, they did make a difference back in the days.

I don't write guides just for the bragging rights, you, of all the people there, should know this : I writed and i write guides because it is one of my hobbies, a passion. I also do that because i like adding QUALITY in my guides. As far as i know, our guides are far better than any other fansites'. I'm not in it for Quantity. I did Quality, and alot of it... Resulting in quantity.

Look, by now, you might think my methods are controversial, but in the end, they are for more effective than you think.

Chill Pill now, Shall we?

I just had a discussion with Neo. I hope we settle down now :o

I also realised i did something wrong that is against my Ethics (Military junk).

I disencouraged teamwork by denying any help. Thefore, i stand corrected in the matter.

From now, feel free to contribute!

For ghasts, you can make druid pouches at the event, if you have prayer points and a sickle (b).

You might add that using food on the people you are transporting heals them.

Just to add my view on this squabble, I don't see a problem in posting partial guides. Just because someone comments before it's finished, doesn't make their point invalid. You can always read it at a later date and choose whether to use their advice or not. Does it matter that someone finds it easier to write half a guide at a time? I certainly found it convenient to post completed sections before the whole guide was done. I don't see why it matters in the slightest, or why any of you care what other people do. :o

Already knew that, but thanks for reminding me :o

Oh, you still need your first pouch, though.

Don't use coloured text. It's hard to read and won't be used on the site. If you want to make something clearer, use bold or italics.

Question: Does a Blessed Silver Sickle work against Vampire Juvinates?

--Simple--

They are immune to all weapons except Blessed Silver Sickles, Ivandis Rods and Wolfbane Daggers.

I changed the "Other than" to "Except"

I tried using as little as possible... :o

As little as possible is too much. There shouldn't be any at all. Trying to read some of the text makes my eyes hurt since the colours are so bad.

The next thing that needs to be done to the guide is have all the coloured text removed.

How can you see it's color text when your colorblind? :xd:

I'll do that, for you :s

Again a question (I have never played this one before hence the questions): The rod of ivandis has 10 charges and thus is capable of killing 10 vampyres. Is 10 the maximum number you will meet during one trek? If not should I take more than 1 rod of ivandis?

It might be wise to include the hitpoints of the characters you need to protect: that way you know when to heal them with what kind of food. It would be a waste to use a shark if a character has 18 hp in total. Second reason for it: you can guestimate at what point to heal that character.

Some have as low as 10 I think, and the toughest have around 25, but those are guesses. I find salmon works fine, and more than lobsters is a waste since the characters with more hits take less damage, so using lower food is fine.
