Why is Don back on the list? He didn't show any effort at all and he is annoying.

Firstly, he did not put any effort in his last piece. He made a decent piece but he didn't blend it. People pmed him and he ignored every single one. I wouldn't be suprised if he did it again.

He is annoying and he shows it constantly.

Right there. If have no problem putting him on again. If he holds it up again further modifications to rules will be added.

When we went through a while ago and stopped work on the worm to get people to blend their pieces, I thought we agreed that if your previous piece doesn't blend you wouldn't be able to create any more pieces until that one does blend. Since that wasn't ever made an official rule, I think we should add it:

4. You will not be allowed to sign up for the worm if you have previously made any pieces that do not blend well with the piece prior to yours.

Granted, I've been very inactive here lately so I do think that you (Cook) should have the final say, but this might help with some of the blending problems.

EDIT: And since we did make that rule previously, it just wasn't ever officially added to the first post, I think that if Don hasn't fixed his previous piece yet, then he shouldn't be able to create another piece until he fixes the other one. :rolleyes:

Okay the team has made a consensus;

Don will be allowed another chance to make another piece. If he does not blend his piece or resists fixing it, he will be "banned" from signing up in the next sign up topic.

Don you will be starting after Epicmoose.

*Front Page Editted*

  • Makz added to Worm Administration
  • Drolleke in charge of Worm site
  • New Rule added

I don't think he should just be banned from the next signup topic if he doesn't fix the previous piece, I think he shouldn't be allowed to sign up at all until it's fixed. Including this time, I don't think he should be allowed to make this piece until his previous one is fixed. :)

Also Droll needs to update the site. :rolleyes:

Could you please re-upload your piece so I can add it to the site? I get a 403 forbidden.

Perhaps its worth mentioning this, though its probably obvious to most of you.

When blending a piece don't start with a 600x450 canvas. Use a 1200x450 canvas. On the left side, put the piece you have to blend with, and on the right side, start work on your own piece. This way, you can address blending issues as you see them, rather than trial and error or guess work. Once you've got the blending done, you can finish your piece, and then crop the canvas back to 600x450. Hey presto! You've got a worm piece that blends nicely, without all the fretting that comes from having to guess colour values and pixel positions.
