Hunter Skill Guide -complete

Recommended Posts

I'll get the razor-back I'm heading to the woodland area now.

Here ya go =]

lolherebu9.png

Thanks added

Since none of your guides have added it. A nice thing to add in might be the fairy rings. They are quite useful to get around expecially with the places being of some distance to teleport spawns so Fairy Rings are a great form of travelling, for me anyways.

Code:

Piscotoris (Woodlands): A-K-Q

Feldip Hills (Jungle): A-K-S

Trollweiss (Snow): D-K-S

Way to go, added and credited.

I still need Imp info and pics.

It's a good guide, perhaps make it easyer to navigate? And did you actualy read the runescape site guide on imps? if so you broke the rules that are written very clearly at the top of the page. Also, lets be fair, how many of you have actualy read the other guides?

There were only 2 things I used from the database.

1) Experience for the tables

2) How I set a deadfall trap and how I set a pitfall trap.

I just read the Imp thing and considered it useless.

Want to tell me what rule I broke and where so I can fix it?

I don’t think it’s wrong with using the KB, as long as you write the information you collected in your own words. If you copy something directly, then that is breaking a rule. If you didn’t get any information by yourself and used the KB for the entire guide, then that’s breaking a rule. Cxkslei es un buen muchacho. Él no es un mal muchacho.

Also, the Fairy Ring Coordinate DLQ will take you to a location south of the desert hunting area. You will land by Jackals and Desert Lizards, but you can run north to find the hunting area.

I saw someone catching imps and I asked them about it. I got this information and a picture. I hope it’s what you wanted.

Imps

impoh5.gifAt level 71 hunting, you can start catching imps. To hunt them, you need a magic box and beads. Beads are dropped by imps. Take any colored bead and place it into the magic box. Set up the magic box in an area populated with imps. Wait for the imps to walk over the box. If successful, the imp will be sucked into the box. If not, the imp will walk over the box and disable the trap. Simply set the trap up again and try again. If you catch an imp, you can release them or keep for personal use. You can use imps to send two items to the bank.

Hope you don't mind me using it :aware:. You did a better job writing it then I did.

I use what is provided and from what I have heard the butterflies are random.

Thats a proper imp icon, with the new graphics update.

The Stripy feathers can be used to capture the fabled Rainbow Fish which is great bait.
Better change this sentence: The Rainbow Fish aren't the bait, the feathers are.

Something like this would work: The Stripy feathers can be used to capture the fabled Rainbow Fish for which these are the only bait available.

Yup, one thing: Add the xp gain for each creature catched. Not only at the beginning of the guide but also when you specify various creatures. Seems to be helpful in a skill guide knowing how much xp you get. The Knowledge base has a list of it, so you could get the information from there.

Advisory is to go to Yanille because its closest to the first creatures you can hunt.

Just a little typo, "its" is supposed to be "it's" - it is.

Thanks Jbui, I'll fix that in a second.

Do you need anything from the woodland area whilst I'm there?

I think this one is complete with a few grammar mistakes if any our left.

1 - Polar Kebbits

1- Crimson Swifts

1 - Lay 1 trap at a time

1 - Set a bird trap

1- Use a noose wand

1 - Polar Kebbit Clothing

1 - Common Kebbit fur Clothing

3 - Common Kebbits

4 - Feldip Weasel Clothing

You may want to align them all the same as _-_ because in a few they are offset and rather ugly

That will happen automatically when placed in tables, and I kind of can't fix it :D.

Doh, I am not sure what it's used for?

What is it used for, what are its stat boosts.

I already know it cost 1,300gp.

Got the info.

Very well done indeed, Cxkslei.

I see nothing wrong, though perhaps you could go into a touch more detail about how the Gloves of Silence work... and it would be a safe bet that adding some information on the Skillcape of Hunting would be a popular move, of course. No one has it yet, as a matter of course, but people would appreciate it all the same.

On the crossbow, I think you give Kebbit spines and teeth to some guy and he makes them for you. It's only a guess, but one would speculate that he would be the same person who sells you the crossbow. It's allegedly faster than any other crossbow, with a bonus of +55 ranged, and it can only use kebbit bolts.

Yeah, I found that out, Leon, I need someone to get me the prices, and theres a way to make them yourself supposedly, anyone got the information?

As for the Hunting Skill Cape, when someone officially gets 99 hunting, I will use their video.
