Linked Text

Recommended Posts

I’ve noticed on some skins that whenever something is linked, the color of that linked word changes, or gets a little lighter. I like that appearance of linking. Here is an example of all the users online. They are all linked to their profiles.

However, on some skins, linked words are underlined. I really don’t like the linking that way. That is one of the reasons I don’t use other skins, other than Runescape Light. I know it is a picky reason, but doesn’t the picture above look any better than this one?

This is just my suggestion, but is there anyway to hide the underlining with linked text and stick with the change in coloring? What do you all think?

It just has to do with the coding of the skin. Removing the underline code would be trivial, and I think for names its a good idea. But generally, I think having the underline is a good idea because the link text color is very similar to (if not the same as) normal text. Names are their own color, though, so it should be fine. :santa:

I’m glad you somewhat agree, but I still think the underlining looks annoying.

Well I like Runescape Light so I don't look in other sknis that much but..

Yeah it looks kind of silly :doubt: The runescape light skin looks a lot neater on the links to the members profiles to.

Darkness V.2.2 Doesn't have it either, And it may be your best shot if you want a darker skin without the underlining.
