You can only pick up one at a time, although it is possible to have several visible at once by leaving or dropping scrolls on the floor, then obtaining another as a drop. If you have a clue scroll in your inventory or bank, it it not possible to obtain another until the one you have is either completed or dropped.
The image to the left demonstrates how it is possible to have multiple clue scrolls visible to you at once.
