Hey there!

A couple of updates to our site have gone online today. First, our Fight Arena quest guide has been rewritten to include new information and updated pictures, and it should be more helpful to questers working on this quest! Many thanks to Fire Wolf737 for sharing this much-needed update with us!

Also, as you've probably noticed, our website banner has changed from a wintery landscape to a summer theme! I'm pleased to announce the winner of our Summer Banner Competition! Drum roll, please...

First Place Winner: Uskovainen

Second Place Winner: Zooey

Congratulations to Uskovainen for winning this competition and the goodies that go along with the first-place prize!

And lastly, I'd like to give a shout-out to the D Squires friends chat in RuneScape; a friendly group of RuneScapers dedicated to helping players with the Dungeoneering skill! If you're looking for some guidance on training or earning Dungeoneering rewards, be sure to stop by!

Hi all,

Awhile back, we held a guide drive to bring our content up-to-date with the changes brought with the Evolution of Combat. Well, today, I'm pleased to announce our five winners of our contest!

1st Place - Taker

Taker is our first-place winner, with a total of 1,600 points! Congratulations Taker, I think everyone will agree that you are deserving of our top prize!

2nd Place - Sobend

Our second-place winner is Sobend with 1,423 points! Awesome work!

3rd Place - Wartoc1, Hunter, and Trey

Lst but not least, our three runners up! Congratulations to Wartoc1 with 313 points, Hunter with 264 points, and Trey with 119 points!

This guide drive was a great success! Thanks to our contributors, we will be able to update many of our guides and items with brand-new information. Thank you all; we couldn't do it without your support!

Hey folks,

As you've probably noticed by now, the release of EoC has been a major change to RuneScape. It has affected practically all areas of RuneScape in some way, which means that many of our guides and information has become, well... outdated.

We need YOUR help to get our guides back in shape so that we can continue to be a helpful fansite for RuneScapers! So, we're hosting a Guide Update Drive on our forums! If you've found Sal's Realm helpful in playing RuneScape, we encourage you to help us out with our "push" to get our content updated.

And of course, there are prizes involved!

1st Place:

• A custom member title and pip for a month!
• I'll lend you my Santa Hat in RS for 24 hours!
• A $10 90-day RuneScape game card!
• A "Sal's Realm of RS" Santa Hat!

2nd Place:

Sal's Realm is holding a competition to design a "Christmas in RuneScape" themed banner for our website, and we need your help! If you're interested in having your artwork displayed on our site and winning some great prizes, I'd like to invite you to check out our Banner Competition topic on our forums for rules and more information.

Hey there!

Last month, we held a competition to create a banner image to invite our website users to join our community forums. Today, I'm very pleased to announce our winner, whose graphical banner is now displayed right here on our homepage!

First-Place Winner: Sk8skull

Runner-Up: Zooey

Congratulations to Sk8skull for winning first place in our contest! Sk8skull will be receiving some neat RuneScape concept art, as well as a custom title on our community forums!

Are you interested in writing content for Sal's Realm? Through the rest of January, we're holding a Quest Guide Update Drive in which our community members (that's you!) can submit images and content for points:

• Images: 1 Point each
• A full guide's images: 1 Point per picture + 10 points
• A full guide: 1 Point per picture + 40 points
• A brand new guide: 75 points
• Written guide updates/corrections: 2 points per paragraph
• Image transparencies: 1 point for every 3 images made transparent

And what good are points without rewards?! We have several prizes from Jagex for our top three contributors, including:

1. A free 30-day RuneScape membership subscription
2. A Signed RuneScape mousemat
3. A RuneScape cap
4. RuneScape concept art cards

That's on top of a custom member title and team icon (pip) on our forum! For full details, please see the Guide Drive topic.
